@pakiw2 I agree with the fact it depends on your playing style, but alot of players have their guitars about the same hight as he has when they stand up and play. So when you learn something in the classical position, then stand up and play it, its easy to play.

@hyuugaamida You and miles that know how to hold a guitar... although i mix the positions, for rock and pop stuff i hold it like a "rebel"... and for metal, death, super death, holy death, ultra death, tech death, blackened death, lounge, jazz and classical, i play in the "classical position" it's the correct and healthier way

@xdyingfetusx69 Yeah it is the original position to hold a guitar. Until guitars were westernized and to make it easier to play, they would make the neck skinnier so our whole hand would hold the neck since we sat down differently and held it wrong, more cutaway, and use bronze strings not nylon. Yeah we suck

if you hold the guitar in classical style you can also get a better rotation on your wrist so you get a better angle on the frets.....
