Hi :) I know you're a Bettina user, haven't you tried their High Gloss Top Coat? I have and it's very good. It is fast drying and very glossy. I love it. i haven't used Seche Vite, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the video.
I don't like INM though... When I started with nail polish and all I got a small bottle of Seche Vite, it got really thick and wanted try a new one. I heard a lot of great things about it, but I hated it! It didn't dry as fast as Seche, so I got myself a bottle of Seche Vite and the Restore. I'm halfway through my Seche Vite bottle and now it's really hard to get it out and make it smooth on my nail polish :(
Seche Vite is my go to top coat as well and I rarely use anything else. I agree with you that Seche Restore helps with any thickening or shrinking issues. So as long as I have a bottle of both, I'm good :)
I don't think I've ever had a polish not shrink when I use Seche. I use tons of brands, drugstore and higher end, but every time... Within hours. Massive shrinkage. I don't know if maybe it's because my bottle has indeed gotten a little goopy and that is causing further shrinkage, but it's certainly gotten worse as the bottle went down. Which is a shame, because it's really all I have been happy with (ignoring the shrinkage).
I haven't tried out the door, though, so I guess that's my next buy...
So far what has worked for me is that i put on base and color coats and then i use Seche Vite. When all that dries, i use Nail Tek II Intensive Therapy on top of Seche Vite. I found that it prevents the polish from peeling off too soon. Usually, my index and middle finger nail polish chips and peels off first.
When people talk about Seche Vite no one says anything about toluene and I think that is important.
My experience with SV is that this top coat shrink almost all my nail poslihes and out the door dont do that and with him my nail polish last much longer. I love SV because very fast drying and super glossy look, but I dont like it because toluene and shrinking. I dont want to my nail polish looks on first day like it is been worn for 5 days.
Good to stuff to know. funny I never noticed Zoya and SV not playing well together. Maybe because I haven't worn that many or I only wear for a couple of days then change it up. I also recently found a top coat at my local Beauty supply called Tufcoat Plus by Sherani. Works just as well as SV. I would also love to see a vid of how you take care of your nails, cuticals ect. What tools do you use to clean up the cuticals after manicure. Or do can you direct me to your blog post . TY

@seventhjezebel in my experience, the shrinkage only happens when it starts thickening up and could benefit from a few drops of seche restore.

@seventhjezebel Do you wrap your tips? I notice that minimizes shrinkage.
