  • i will never join any religious groups!

  • i love how he talks about text-book generic answers that are communal to all Jehovah's Witnesses, yet if any Evangelical Christian says something different to what is traditionally preached, it's named heresy and sin and bla bla. Hypocritical, much?

  • Funny, that's just how I feel when a Christian tries to evangelize me.

  • wow, how mark doesn't see the similarities between his church and Jevovah's witnesses is beyond me. Im not into religion at all but I dont put other people down like Mark has done in the video. Mocking someone because they have a different belief than you is bullshit. I despise Mark, but I make an effort not to belittle him when a topic like this arises in conversation. I wish people on a pulpit could preach grace and understanding rather than mocking and belittling.

  • Christians vs Christians. Nothing new here.

  • At 1:06 "MINE's way Better." That right there sum's up why religion always divides people.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 I believe he was making a joke about being able to sleep in on Saturday :)

  • hahaha i kind of like watching jehovah's witnesses come to our door because my mom will open the door, give them a long lecture on christianity and send them away feeling awkward hahaha

  • I just get my cock out even though im christian lmao.

  • Well put..Jesus never imposed..

  • "Everytime I ask a question what I get is a canned, memorised, textbook answer." - Mark Driscoll whilst stood infront of a canned, probably not memorised because he's lazy, textbook answer to questions about Evangelism.

    *sigh*

  • bottem line: Jahovas Witness' Are ASSHOLES.

  • Very telling that Mark Driscoll doesn't want to convert to JW because his beliefs are "grace-based" so he can sleep in and not work. Nothing to do with truth or reality, just what's fun and comforting for him personally. Also, criticizing people for canned answers is not something Driscoll should be doing ... sigh. maikeru48 had it right a couple days ago, wow, this is painfully ironic.

  • @noforbiddenquestions True... but now you're doing the same thing to him

  • @707TruthSeeker Huh? Doing what?

  • I love it when members of one proselytizing cult ridicule the members of another proselytizing cult for proselytizing.

  • slowly, slowly, catchy monkey....

  • this guy sure isnt very wise, or generous. how about reaching out to them? they came to your door to preach about christ, while you slept. i think they have alittle more cred than you guy.you shouldhave been out there too.

  • "Not imposing anything - proposing relationship." Beautiful. That's true evangelism in one sentence.

  • I never read in the bible about the kind of evangelism Driscoll proposes. I don't say that it doesn't work, but witnessing and/or being a voice in our generation for a righteous and loving God means to be separate from the world and in wisdom to declare the truth to unbelievers and become what Jesus says is a 'fisher of men'. Bearing reproach for the name of Christ will happen from time to time if you truly follow Christ.

  • religion = poison

  • @rocaho001

    Christ = antidote

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV antidote = medicine. Science works much better. I don't see emergency rooms in churches, I see them in hospitals.

  • @rocaho001

    hey, you started the similes.

  • Textbook answers don't imply dishonesty or falsity. Example, all rational mathematicians would give the answer 4 to the question "What is 2 + 2?" I think Mark D. would agree also that Christians give textbook answers too. However he is right that the best witnessing is done by service out of duty towards love. Cheers

  • We should be trying to reach out to THEM... They are only misguided cause they do not know the truth.

  • At least they are trying to do the right thing. They are misguided, but at least they are doing something and standing up for what they believe. How many "Christians" claim to follow Christ but do nothing to reach out to people? If we do not do what Christ is calling us to do, to reach out and to love others, to make a difference on the world around us, then we are not Christians. Period. Read Matt. 25:31-46. Our salvation is based on grace, but we need to take up our cross and follow him

  • you are not funny some Christians you are

  • can't tell if preaching or on comedy tour... lol

  • A christian is a christian in my eyes. I wont let any of them near me or my family.

  • @ubiquitous0666

I seen your comments on other video's! Why on earth would a "parent" spend their free time voicing their opinions, which no one cares about by the way, on video's about people with faith? Billions of people believe in God, alot of which are smarter than you or I. These people include doctors, scientists, Lawyers, Judges, Presidents and teachers, your "child" will at some point be "near" a christian. Jesus's words never die, so guess you gotta get used to it.

  • @ubiquitous0666 I read the end of the book and we win. better join the winning team before its to late!

  • why even comment?

  • hello! u must not know what soliciting is because we dont sell stuff to u ..

  • I believe the power is in the Gospel message itself not in our relations with people. This is not to say that our relations with others shouldn't match that message.

  • "cus my religion is the only religion"

  • Why is the intro to this guy's videos like John Edwards?

  • Christians mocking other Christians. How ironic.

  • @xxESPx ??? You must not know that Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT Christians.

  • @bcvmxzbvnbxcmv

They follow Jesus Christ. Therefore they are Christians.

  • @xxESPx They follow Charles Taze Russell's doctrines. False doctrines. Doctrines not of Christ

  • @oscarmarin1995

Obviously other Christian denominations like you are going to deem them "false" Christians.

From an objective standpoint they ARE Christians.

  • @xxESPx Well, they're following false dotrines that are contrary to Christianity, so yes. It's infiltration of Christianity. I'm not saying JW people are bad, but the higher ups are for sure. Or deceived.

You need to look at the doctrines of a religion before you deem the religion as Christian.

  • @oscarmarin1995

Christianity in essence is without doctrine. Do you think early followers of Jesus had their own recorded dogma? No, they followed his spoken word; they were Christians because they followed Christ. The Catholic Church instituted written dogma after it became a political power in Rome, and since then protestant denominations instituted their own doctrines to distinguish themselves from Catholicism. As I said before, from an OBJECTIVE standpoint, they're Christians.

  • @xxESPx Well, doctrines are made according to scripture. The JW add another book

I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. - Ecclesiastes 3:14

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. - Revelations 22:18

JW is a false religion. Christianity is supossedb Christ centered

  • @oscarmarin1995

May I ask what type of Christian you are?

  • @xxESPx Foursquare

  • @oscarmarin1995 I agree yet, JW's is classed as a "christian blended cult". They do not even realize they are lost or that they are following a many lies. It is the saddest thing ever. JW's do more then just add another book though. They changed the bible completely to the New World Translation and they live by AWAKE magazine. The Watch Tower Tract Society publishes and approves ALL their teachings and they all get the SAME SERMON each week. Its BRAINWASHING...and it is sad sad sad. :(

  • @Chancey9300

Oh please. All Christians do are criticize other denominations, yet you're all rooted in the same exact teachings. You all believe in irrational mythologies, you should get along just fine. Keep allowing religious bias to dictate how you perceive others, I'm sure it'll do you and the world so much good.

  • @xxESPx

ummm, i have friends from almost every religion around the world and im kinda puzzeled what your talking about....and why come here to say it?

  • @xxESPx That is not true though...Jehovah Witnesses are Not Christians...Ask them? For real, go ask one personally. They will tell you themselves...They are Jehovah's Witnesses!!! Not Christians....They Witness for and on behalf of Jehovah God and NOT Jesus the Christ! They are very clear in this themselves///Im puzzled why you say they are Christians?? SO from ANY standpoint...They are not Christians. They are Jehovah's Witnesses... :) But sure they love Christ..Its just not the SAME Christ. :)

  • @oscarmarin1995 Correct...Watch Tower Tract Society and the New World Translation of their bible...They are not following sound gospel, but another gospel not taught by an Apostle of Christ or even by a true disciple...Its sad really....I pray for Witnesses everywhere to come to the TRUE knowledge of Jesus Christ! I do not agree with Mark in this video...I have witnessed to JW's for years and they are great people that are just lost. I think it is wrong to turn away anyone needing Jesus Christ!

  • @xxESPx They will not tell you they are Christians though....They will tell you they are Jehovah's WItnesses. A REAL and faithful JW will never say they are a Christian....THey will not even say Amen or take part in a prayer prayed by a Christian...I have a good friend who is a Witness and they are not Christians...Not the devoted ones who actually follow the teachings of the Watch Tower and the NEW WORLD TRANSLATION bible...its different too...I respect JW's though, big time! :)

  • @Chancey9300

The core fundamentals of Jehovah's Witnesses are that Jesus wasn't necessarily God incarnate, but was God's only DIRECT creation, and served as a redeemer to forgive man's sins. They believe Jesus Christ was directly connected to God, therefore assigning a supernatural element to him. In short: They believe Jesus CHRIST was a messiah, therefore they are Christians.

  • Comment removed

  • @xxESPx

LOL @ typical atheist arguing for no reason.

  • @xxESPx Therefore... They aren't christians, one of the basic beliefs to be a christian is to believe in Jesus as both God and man. A "supernatural element" isnt a Deity in Him, i mean, angels had it too, but not deity.

  • @Sergiofilhopb

So they believe Christ was directly connected to the creator of the universe, yet they aren't Christians. It's funny how the only people saying they aren't "true" Christians, are other Christians. Idiots.

  • @xxESPx They believe something the scriptures never told. Stop talking nonsense.

  • @Sergiofilhopb

Your whole belief system is based on nonsense.

  • @xxESPx JW's are not Christians. THey are Jehovah's Witnesses...How ironic! :)

  • Mark, can't you preach without bashing others all the time :(

  • @YankeeRhoad i think that's impossible for him!

  • @bnatrl88 lol....agreed

  • PREACH....jehovhas witness is a waste of walk on my porch...SAVE YR CALORIES BURNED:)

  • Of all the people who would be opposed to people spreading the word of Christ.....

  • Making fun of other people's efforts to live out their faith does not make you look very Christian.

"Why would I join your deal? You have to get up and walk around the neighborhood!"

Subtext: "I'd rather have people delivered to me and want to rather sleep in than walk the talk."

This is why most Christians are not to be taken seriously. They want their religion suited to their lifestyle not match up their lifestyle with their religion.

  • Does anybody else really, really wanna hit this arrogant delusional douchebag with a shovel or a similar blunt object? Just because he isn't imposing doesn't mean he isn't falsifying reality...

  • Not a big fan of the Jay-Dubs, but Pope Driscoll's appeal to the idea of "they try to good works- why bother?" is pretty revealing.

  • I allowed a Jehovah's Witness to come to my house 2 times a month for almost a yr. The Jehovah Witness that Jesus sent to me, taught me SO MUCH about always being prepared to give a "reason why I believe" she got me into MY bible to answer the tough differences in her faith and my faith. I look at every chance to speak about Christ as a witnessing chance. There ARE amazing things God can teach us by WITNESSING to a Jehovah Witness. If your strong enough in your faith & knowledgeable in the Word

  • @Chancey9300 Good point!! Never thaught about this

  • @Chancey9300 thank you and wow.. (in a low key) I can relate to your story in a small way, for witnessing to another major sect I wont name yet. Your 2nd last sentence I wish I could underline, but I would double-underline your last sentence, for emphasis if I could. thx again sincerely

  • @siriusblue29 The time I took then to WITNESS/fellowship with a Jehovah Witness. That time is STILL reaping peace & love in my life. Now, 5 yrs later there is a 11 yr old boy in my neighborhood that is a Jehovah Witness & because I know & understand his faith & am KIND to him...Jesus has given MANY chances for me to answer questions this child has about the Jesus I know vs. the Jesus he is taught. Understanding someone else's faith CAN help us to speak life to them. Jesus said, my words R life!

  • @Chancey9300 This is true

  • "So that when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavious in christ may be put to shame."Does that mean you provoke shame in them by knowing the evil that is in them and then test their pride like"are YOU the kind of person who would go against this and say bad things or are YOU the kind of person who will not and do the good deeds?"Because thats pride testing. Its what the devil does.

  • @desasterz I hope thats not what he means and that its all about reputation amung our friends. Because hypocrites can do that. People who are deep down bad and are doing stuff and faking it and then test your pride thing. Anyting that has to do with going against things and saying negative things about. You cna even do it on sad people!

  • Wow Mark is irritated by Jehovhas witness's, that is the most ironic thing I've ever heard.

  • i like doing good just because its a good thing to do ....not out of authority or fear of going to some imaginary place called "hell" which i think god created because he apparently created "everything" so maybe creating hell is a sin and gods a sinner......

  • @MidiMurderer Yea, but since Gods are man-made....the Gods's dicks are nonexistant.

  • Every one hates them, so don't be like them.

(It's actually a Cult......like a lot of religions are, actually)

  • Driscolls trippin'. "I dont' know if it works"??? Relationship??? They need the truth of the Gospel! They need to know the real Jesus. They need to hear the Word of God, therefore Christians need to KNOW the Word of God to use it at the appropriate time. Driscolls off!

1 Peter 3:15 "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"

  • Its most important to look at the big picture, Mark was making a joke, and listening to many of his sermons he is a true man of God. Lets not condemn men who have a sense of humour when it comes to preaching the word, its much needed! Thanks mark, your sermons have been a huge help in my walk with God.

  • "No solicitation" signs would not apply in this instance. They aren't trying to sell a good. However, 2 John 1:10 does say not to let them into your house or welcome them.

  • and you have the answer? who gave you the right to judge? and you pass your judgment down to others..shame on you!

  • Aren't you supposed to treat others the way you want to be treated?

  • Just answer the door in your underwear. It helps if you're hairy and on the portly side.

  • I find it funny when we get jehova witnesses at the door, I like to humour them.

  • Hitler killed that many Jehovah's Witness because they use to go to Hitler's Bunker on Sunday morning and wake him up.

  • @submariner200 FUNNY-BUT EVIL!

  • God wants you to minister to them

  • @ada2step Absolutely. We often look for witnessing opportunities as Christians but find it hard to transition a conversation to the things of God. These are evangelism opportunities on a platter. Ask them questions like, " I have three minute's to live. What must I do to be saved?" Or run them through the "good person test". (look it up) When you present the law to them they will see that they are going to be found guilty on the day of judgement and no amount of "good works" can help.

  • @mccfowler ya I also want them to be saved too! You would be supprised how some of them don't realize how off the jw doctrine is.I think that is is easy if you question the scrpture in their bible I even looked up the difference between Christians and Jahova wittness and the JW that I was talking to didn't realize how different our scriptures are from their false doctrine. I think that some christians don't educate themselves on the differences then it makes it harder to wittness to them

  • @ada2step yup

  • even in time of Jesus Christ,...nobody listen to him,..same as u people today,.. God Blez everyone,..

  • hahaha.. i was arguing the trinity with a JW once and i brought up the verse Colosians 1:19, The JW pulled out an essay entitled "How to counter argue Colosians 1:19"

  • @zachp95 Seriously?

  • "Every I ask a question, I get a canned, memorized textbook answer."

And Christians are different how (aside from a ridiculous emotional fervor behind said answers)?

  • @hiraikotsuember

"And Christians are different how (aside from a ridiculous emotional fervor behind said answers)?"

Precisely. I'm not sure why he acts as though the majority of christian religions don't provide memorized

answers. Even the typical atheist knows more about scripture than many christians do, thus they're almost

forced to give textbook memorized answers.

  • JW's stopped coming to my house some years ago when i made it totally clear that i was not interested in them.

get this: i did NOT argue or discus theology with them - that only encourages them for it makes them think you are open.

SO you simply say, NOT INTERESTED and shut the door. If they refuse to leave, in my country at least, they can be prosecuted for trespass.

I regard any attempt to deal with them otherwise as a total waste of time

  • From what I could see in this short clip it is not correct in the way we r 2 share the Gospel. We must engage by initiating conversation if necessary with others & speak to their conscience about the condition of their heart through Gods perspective of us (10 commandments). Then after they realize they are in need of salvation we share Christ with them & tell about repentance. If we wait 2 establish a relationship it could be too late. One of us could die b4 that or Christ could come. Game over

  • JWs Try talking in a non door knocking way.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses and mormons scare me.

  • Comment removed

  • @ProductofNZ Protestants frighten me - if don't agree with their theological presumptions you'll likely be burned or hung from a stake as a heretic or possibly drowned as a witch! Ouch! However, if you're fortunate enough to come across some of the nicer ones you'll likely forego the death thingy and merely be ostracized and mocked for not being one of them.

  • It's kinda funny, but it's also disrespectful to people who are genuinely trying to follow what they think is right. I do it too, but it's easier to see it in someone else, I guess. Satire and making fun usually don't turn out to be ways to lead people to Christ.

  • @raile587e My disagreement with you is that you seem to put off a hint that truth is relative to the believer. You are wrong. Truth is absolute and unwavering. If a person is wrong about Christ then they are wrong. We need to tell them about it immediately. If it hurts their feelings, then so be it. Rebuke is love & we must stand strong on the Truth. We cant stand by & let them live a lie in their comfortable truth and then be in eternal torment when they go to Hell.

  • @beamla

  • I completely disagree with this clip. JW come to my door every so often. I treat them with respect and inquisitiveness and engage them in conversation regarding Scripture; the differences as well as the similarities. I use to get mad and chase them. Since I departed from the anger and intolerance I am filled with a sense of peace after sharing with them. Now I look forward to their visits. BTW, if you ask the same question, you'll get the same answer.

  • How dare this man criticize those who do the same work as he but go one step beyond. If he asks them a question and they always give him the same right answer, what in the world is wrong with that. I he doesn't want to talk to the Witnesses, then don't answer the door and leave it at that.

  • @mattkeenan100 cause JW always give the wrong answer

  • @wolfjake100

    Jehovah is God almighty. Amen.

Jesus is our Lord and our God as Thomas confessed.

Jesus is alpha and omega almighty God.

There is one God three persons; Father, Son and Spirit.

  • @namasteywhat fundamentalists can be of any religion.

  • I totally understand what he's saying, but a soundbite of a sermon can be misleading

  • @stoob1969 A douche bag like Mark Driscoll can be misleading.

  • @beamla Douche bag? Harsh!! ;o)

  • @stoob1969 It is Driscoll... : )

  • I think we should leave the JW alone. Even if they are in the wrong, they still love Jesus. Because we should love them, we should open our door to them and speak the truth about God. They need as much as unbelievers to hear the real Good news and understand that Jesus is not an Angel.

  • @ceraline That is right. No religious person should ridicule another person's religion in the way this guy does. Even if people think their religion is the one true religion, it is arrogant. But fundamentalists don't get that because they are ALWAYS right.

  • @beamla Actually, you are very right. The seekers of God are to respect fellow seekers regardless of the religious beliefs. I do believe this is addressed in The Torah, The Bible, as well as, the Qur'an.

  • But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

  • @YesToYeshua Yeah Paul was telling peeps not to listen to any other religious preaching... that's what say to your sheep when you're in a cult.

  • @beamla Yeah, OK. Thanks for the heads up. Lol God bless you, Beamia.

  • I would much rather have JW at my door than Mark Driscoe!

Does not mean I would let either of them inside.

  • @wilby1414 AMEN!

  • I'm going to say this to all the people who have a problem with Mark Driscoll. The reason you have a problem with him is because, here it comes, you're being made to feel uncomfortable because what he's speaking is the truth. So check yourselves, go home, lock the door, spend time with God and find out why you find the blunt truth uncomfortable

    Bless everyone!

  • @OliveTreeAcoustic Yes I don't like Driscoll cos he speaks the truth. Likewise- I don't like Paris Hilton because she speaks the truth.

  • @beamla haha, see?

  • @OliveTreeAcoustic Driscoll is Paris? Paris is Driscoll? You've blown my mind. I bet Driscoll is shit at giving head. Actually on second thoughts Ted Haggard...

  • @beamla you seriously are gutting bugged by the Holy Spirit aren't you!

  • @OliveTreeAcoustic Nope not bugged by the holy spirit. Bugged by history blind fundamentalist Christians? Yes somewhat.

  • @beamla :)

  • @OliveTreeAcoustic Yeah, that's it. I feel the truth so much, I don't recognize it. How simple the mechanism of my denial, when you say it like that...And I'm 10 feet tall. If you don't believe me, it's probably because it's true, right?

  • this guy is a lair we dont ask people to join us, he wouuld probably say the same thing if jesus was at his door, cause jesus was at people doors, this guy is not a christain

  • Why does this guy think that his religion is better? Based on no reason. Just tribalism.

  • When Jehova's Witnesses come to my door, I just leave a cardboard cutout in the shape of me, and they talk to it while I get a beer.

  • Guys a douche bag

  • Since I'm gay will you still invite me to church?

  • @xxxeMoforAday22xxx yes let him without sin cast the first stone

  • @Edthelush I would definitely go, I'm trying to find god, I'm an atheist...

  • @xxxeMoforAday22xxx You should try going to Mars Hill sometime. It's a great church.

All sin is equal, and we all have it, so no one there is going to judge you. Just give it a try, and be open to it. See if you can talk to one of the pastors there. They'd love to talk to you.

  • @jesseroggaa No evidence. A fun group of people talking rubbish together. I'm sure it may be nice socially, but it's all rubbish.

  • @beamla Cool story, bro. Tell it again.

  • @xxxeMoforAday22xxx They'll invite you to the church and then tell you why you need to "stop" being gay. That is you need to live the rest of your life denying your biological urges because their book says so. Not a good way to live life, frankly a fucked up way to live life. Peace.

  • @beamla I can't argue there, plus, I don't believe in god.

  • @beamla you say biological urges. please know that study after study have been inconclusive regarding the origins of homosexuality. For every study that has been conducted and published major flaws on both sides of the isle have been detected thereby calling into question the validity of the results. Please know that God doesn't rule the Earth at the moment. To understand homosexuality please read up on baphomet

  • @oganmy9 I would imagine you got told that false information by an ignorant Christian (not all Christians are ignorant). Some Christians refuse to accept that homosexuals actually have biological urges because those Christians can't reconcile that FACT with their particular religious beliefs. You can't change the facts of the world to suit your religion. You have to accept the facts of the world and make it work with your religion.

  • @oganmy9 Furthermore on the "origins" of homosexuality. I'm guessing you think homosexuality originated in the sexual revolution of the 1960s? I'm guessing you think there are homosexuals today because of changes in society's attitudes to homosexuality? No. Why were there homosexuals in times where they could be killed or imprisoned? They have existed forever- the evidence is shown throughout civilizations.

  • @beamla You seem to imagine and guess where you would be better served by delving into information. you're incorrect as to where I came upon my information. I have been reading the studies which have been conducted as to what deciding factor contributed to a homosexual lifestyle. I hardly interjected my personal opinion

  • @oganmy9 The same factors that contribute to a "heterosexual lifestyle". It just happens, people don't make a choice.

  • I don't like this guy at all, but this was kinda funny. =P

  • i hate being a johvah F MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

  • @TheManbinderjeet Learn to spell

  • Jehovah witness at my door or calvinist at my door, which would i prefer? hmmm, both only believe certain elect will be saved and God damns the rest to hell, so whats the difference? Both are heresy!

  • "not imposing anything, but proposing relationships."

  • "Why would I join your deal? You gotta walk around the neighborhood!"

  • @Barnabas64 lol love that line

  • Mark Driscoll's smart ass comments about the JWs isn't really cool .. nor is it honoring God. Just one more thing I cant stand about Fundies .. Smart asses

  • @LifterWill what's a Fundie?

  • @mishn90 Fundies are "fundamentalists" .. People who love their RELIGION .. but have no idea what it is to love anyone who is different from them. Christians wouldn't say "I want to put a big dog and a gun out front" .... Driscoll is a SMART ASS .. not someone who seeks to represent Christ outside his little circle of Fundamentalist Zealots.

  • @LifterWill Ooh be careful there. You slam him for saying "I want to put a big dog and a gun out front" and yet you say smart a**. “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

  • @LifterWill Ok so he's trying to be funny about it, and some of the things that he said might not have been very Christianly, but what he says about Jehova's Witnesses are true. They go around quoting things from the Bible yet they don't even follow it themselves. In fact they leave out the most important part of the Bible, that Jesus was God's son.

  • @Katey2004 They have a different Bible. It looks very similar but it's changed in strategic ways. For example, instead of "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

the JW version says "In the beginning ... and the Word was a god."

By adding in that little "a" which is not in the Greek, and by making God lower-case (which also doesn't match the Greek), it then supports their belief that Jesus was not God, but that a god like we can be (according to them)

  • @levanquer uhuh.... I see. How do they change the verse John 14:16? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I think there book is a little contradictory if you ask me.

  • Comment removed

  • @Katey2004 I'm guessing you meant John 14:6, which in their bible (the New World Translation) it is stated in the same way "Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

So yes, it is a contradictory and inaccurate translation of the original text.

  • @levanquer Yeah, I meant 14:6. A bit out of it today so I accidentaly added an extra 1. But anyway, that is what I meant to say.
