I think the best bet is to send it off to blackhole, so that way, we can be sure that it is gone for good. Nothing can escape from blackhole not even light.
Shit! Global warming is gonna set the blob free and it'll eather start with the Scandinavians, the Russians or the Canadians... Pray for that The-Day-After-Tomorrow-Scenario to come true! I move to the equator! Bye!
only 1 way to rid of it. Stick it in a deep-freeze chamber then put that chamber in a space rocket and launch it to the sun. If it don't freeze,it'll fry.
@7DARKHELLS No. Godzilla got dropped into a volcano and tons of molten lava in Godzilla 1985 and comes back in Godzilla vs Biollante. Oh,could The Blob survive a fight against Godzilla? Godzilla's been hit with almost everything but a direct hit by a nuclear warhead,he might be able to withstand a hunger snack arrack against The Blob without being consumed.
@ninjawraith17 I think it would have fallen so fast that the audience might not have registered what was happening. Making it go down slowly brings the point home more.
OMG ..such a movie...I think I had wonderful Wanda's Bra off right now at the Northmain Drive-in in Winnipeg..at the all night show July 2 1961...The Arctic did stay cold and so did Wanda. @DaMostEnigmatic That would have made sense, because then it could have come back to earth and they could have made a sequel, "The Return of the Blob!"

There was, sort of ... I can't remember the name, sth. like "Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster" ... the monster was called HEDORAH (I think), it was a blob of slime.
