You don't have back surgery if you back is good do you? It might be better than it was BEFORE surgery but it's not as GOOD as it was when he didn't need it fixed and he is slower now,just facts of life he's older. i really disagree if that was the case y was tito's first fight going to be against mark coleman? and then why did they give him forrest griffin? forrest griffin is a top 5 lhw in the ufc. the first win against ken noone knew he would be that bad. and he almost beat machida in their fight and he basically did beat rashad evans on the judges scorecards but he got a 1 point deducted of course nething coulda happened if he didnt grab the fence but nothing coulda happened as well.

I'm not a Tito hater I'm really not (i might be in the minority there though...lol) he was a truly great fighter and he still is a good fighter but unless the top ten as they are defect or die of bubonic plague he won't be champion again. He has a lot to offer the sport after all he has taken over as G&P king after coleman but his time has passed like it does for every great champion he won't be the first or last champion that stays in after there sell by date i just hope he stays healthy
