this song dates back to maybe 1980, 1981. Must be, given the reference to Snakefinger. Done in the manner of the early Residents stuff, the Duck Stab, Fingerprintz, 3rdR&R era. Its a parody of their style, the sparse instrumentation, the sing-song nonsense lyrics, the (attempt at a) Texas drawl. The final set of lyrics was added live, not part of the original recording.

How else would you get some people to listen to them? the majority of people would need to be messed up a little to be open minded enough to give them a chance. I think it makes them hit a little harder, great synergy
