  • please!! WTF? what is this????!!

  • impressive parody with just a guitar and a voice

  • i want more drugs and more residents

  • Ignore my last question, it's all in the description...;)

  • how old is this song and when was this performance????

  • this song dates back to maybe 1980, 1981. Must be, given the reference to Snakefinger. Done in the manner of the early Residents stuff, the Duck Stab, Fingerprintz, 3rdR&R era. Its a parody of their style, the sparse instrumentation, the sing-song nonsense lyrics, the (attempt at a) Texas drawl. The final set of lyrics was added live, not part of the original recording.

  • Who needs drugs when you can just listen to the residents?

  • are you really asking this question?

  • No, I'm speaking figuratively... The residents would be AWESOME on drugs...

  • How else would you get some people to listen to them? the majority of people would need to be messed up a little to be open minded enough to give them a chance. I think it makes them hit a little harder, great synergy

  • Agreed... Though I do know some people who are "Already There" without the help of drugs. Artists every one of them.

  • @ospididious they aren't awesome enough without them? Why should we use substances to enjoy something that is already a work of art?

  • Hail to the King, Baby!
