Oh how cool ^-^ you brought this song to your guitar teacher! ^^ Are you using my own sheet music? Of course! there are no other tabs XD Which beat number are you talking about? At any rate, the tabs aren't perfect, but they contain all information you need to be able to play it like I do. your guitar teacher should be able to play it like I do with my sheets ;) Or if you let him listen to the original, he might render an even better cover! ^-^

For example on measure 6, we are so confused on how to read the sheet music. I'm terribly sorry if I look dumb to you, but i see ties. Does that mean to keep the notes from the previous measure held ( finger picking style?)

Oh hahaha I completely understand what you mean now ^-^ It's a guitar pro issue. You see, on a normal guitar pro tab the notes always sound so short, but especially in this song you have to let to ring all strings as long as possible so I tied everything to make it sound more like how I play it XD It makes the Standard Notation more difficult to read but it sounds better in gp4 than not tieing it. If you take a look at the tablature, that's way easier to read, because you won't see the tied note

If you listen to my video and try to cover it measure by measure, it also might make the sheet music easier to read ;) So try listening to the video and using the tabs instead of standard notation if you have difficulties with the ties. Technically my sheet is really really bad, but it's a good representation of my cover ^-^ If you have a mic or webcam you could get a lesson on skype from me ;)
