Nobody likes deleting characters from factions for balance's sake, so by the time AWDS came out, Orange Star kept all its COs from previous games, just like all the other factions.

@ParadiseVonDD It's pretty good, it gives a 20% Luck increase, but I don't like this Tag for 3 reasons: 1-I don't use Hachi. While he has the ability to get units cheap at no penalty (Especially with his CO Powers), he cannot raise his attack power except by a measly 10%, which is standard for all CO Powers in DS unless stated otherwise. This means that a chokepoint could cripple him, which is why I prefer Colin(Power of Money) over Hachi. (Continued in next post)

@ParadiseVonDD Colin could muster the power to smash through a chokepoint a lot easier than Hachi could. 2-Both Sensei's and Hachi's Super Powers utilize captured territories. If their all filled with Sensei's Mechs(since I like to not move them to regain the 1 HP they don't have) It kind of defeats the purpose of Merchant Union. I prefer to tag Sensei w/Andy, since Andy can heal the HP they don't have immediately. (More Continuation...anyone else think comment limits are too short?)

@ParadiseVonDD 3-Infantry Swarm. On larger maps with lots of territories (*cough*Mial's Hope*cough*) the 50 unit limit could keep you from building a unit you desperately need. Say you use Sensei's Power and you hit the 50 unit limit with Mechs. Mechs are nice, but if 2 bombers have been wreaking havoc, they don't help much if you can't build that fighter. You'd have to delete units to build more, which defeats the purpose of using the power. That's why I'm not a fan of Grizzled Vets.

@dudetazerd Why delete? Join two 9 HP mechs together and you get a 10HP mech and 8 mech HP worth of funding. In this way, Sensei's power can serve a dual purpose, and on a large map where the unit cap would put a damper on things this could be a severe boost to funds. Plus given how most maps are, it's really unlikely that the mechs will be more than 4 tiles away from each other. If anything this also makes Hachi better by giving more funds to work with.

I should've thought of that, but I'd rather pair Sensei w/Andy so I can heal the Mech's HP w/o joining, since my strategy w/Sensei is to use Mechs as capturers, as well as meat shields for indirects, so I want a good number of them. Joining them would give you more funding, but I prefer CO's that can significantly boost their entire army's stats over flooders. I'm just not a fan of Hachi/Sensei pair. I prefer a Grit/Olaf or Colin/Sasha pairing, just more my style.
