  • Tonight (18 December 2010) at Fourth Presbyterian Church, again 1,000+ others and I enjoyed the annual Christmas concert offered by spectacular Tower Brass. What a great evening.

  • terrible arrangment hate this song

  • Good ensemble more or less. But a crappy arrangement.

  • Not to mention the tuning.

  • i gotcha. really starts @ like 1:30 - The trumpet is off for sure. No disrespect, but it's true.

  • what? Can you not think of anything?

  • what makes you think the trumpet player is off? He sounds alright to me...

  • the tuba player is Sean Whitaker. I heard him play a solo by Tomasi while ago. He's good

  • Do you know what kind of tuba he's playing?

  • nope

  • Sounds like the arrangement PSO (Pittsburgh) Brass used on one of their Xmas albums--which is SO much more brassy (mostly trombone to die for) than this rendition (which I LOVE immensely!)!

  • This sounds like a "borrowed" version of John Rutter's arrangement for the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble some years ago.

  • tuve la oportunidad de escucharlos en vivo hace dos dias atras y el tubista es un musico fuera de serie! increible!

  • Chicago. My hometown AND the BEST city on the planet!!!! My mom was baptised at the '4-th church'.

  • They also joined "Pavan" from Arbeau's "Orchesographie" to the first piece.

  • The tuba player is dreamy.
