I love this game. I also like the fact that with this costume for Vergil in Devil Trigger you can shoot out these laser ball things from his hands. They do a lot of damage. That's another good thing with this costume. Vergil's attacks change in Devil Trigger as well.

He is playing the Special Edition of the game where you can play as both Dante AND Vergil. In the original game, it had harder difficulties, and the lack of a Vergil playable character and the Bloody Palace event.

I wish I had the Special Edition and not the normal. I'd enjoy playing every second of it. But I suppose I can enjoy kicking ass with Vergil on M.U.G.E.N. instead. :)

Your "glitches," aren't glitches.

Summoned swords don't lock on automatically the same way dante's guns do

The "cancelling animation" at 2:55 and 3:12 is jump cancelling. You can cancel an airborne move by jumping off your opponent. It's how all the crazy players in TST do their ridiculous combos.

Vergil 3's version of the Judgement Cut actually has two variations. The first is where the cuts follow you. The second is where the cuts appear randomly around dante/vergil

Battling all of those bosses for first time? NAH you're lying! You must've beat those bosses some times, no one can beat Vergil so perfect for the first time! And you use the "stay forever devil cheat" so it makes dodge attacks easyer, not very immpresive if you ask me...

And I did not use any cheats, it is the effect of the costume I'm using...To which I don't even use except for Vergil 3 (Where even then it wasn't needed, everything I did you can do without Devil Trigger. You don't need extended speed to dodge his Helm Breakers). Extended DT does not make dodging attacks easier, it only increases damage output.

Oh! I just realized something.

Vergil practices a real-life fighting style known as laido (I think). It involves attacking with the sword...AND it's sheath.

When Vergil does his combo, after the Stinger and double swing, I though that he punched, but what he really does is slash with Force Edge's scabbard.

It is Iaido, which means the art of sheathing and unsheathing of the sword. As for the Force Edge/Yamato combo, he does a double sheath swing, an upward slash, Helm Breaker with Force Edge and a Stinger. Force Edge doesn't have a scabbard.

1st of all, make sure you have the special edition version of the game.

If you have, considering you said you unlocked him so I guess you do, you have to start a new game. You will be able to select him after that.

Remember to save his file separate from Dante's.

If you complete Dante Must Die Mode (The story) you will get a costume that has infinite devil trigger, but does not yield restorative properties.

Bloody Palace is only one difficulty. However, it is 9,999 waves of endurance which equals 99 waves as you can take a portal that skips 100 rounds each turn. On e completion of that, you get the costume used in this video but you have to complete BOTH to unlock the costume, not just one or the other.

It's a secret costume you can unlock by completing Bloody Palace mode and completing Dante Must Die Mode. I have so much health because I have bought all the Blue Orbs and found all the Blue Orb Fragments.

I don't have that many Red Orbs, but it's just from playing that's all.

Aaah so you did it via the PC version, okay. My videos were done from Capture Card on a PS2. Doing a DMD run of the bosses on the PC version is slightly more difficult because I can't press certain buttons and lock on at the same time...Taunt for example.

I also don't have a gamepad...>_>
