I find it hilarious how people can come on here and instead of talking about how good of a song this is they just bash the new generation for their music. Im young and I like this song, I also love new songs of different genres. Music is a generations voice, and if they we're still making songs of the same style I think we would all be a little bored with music these days. Why don't you open your mind, I guarentee there is music being made today that can be enjoyed by those who enjoy this.
This band were/are talented musicians. Now they are mostly entertainers. If you have to dress like slut/pimp/gangsta in order to sell cd's/ tickets what does that say about your "talent"?
This song always reminds me of driving to Indiana for the weekend after my Friday little league baseball game in 1975... it was always on the car radio then!

I inherited some of their singles from my older brothers and sisters. I have no idea what ever happened to those little discs of black gold, but they sure left a happy mark on my soul.
This group is awesome; If I remember, I purchased two of their albums in the seventies. I rarely purchased albums, but these guys were G-R-E-A-T and they still are, for sure! Only five years or so ago they played for a lucky audience in Eugene, Oregon Lane County Fair. LOVE THIS MUSIC AND THEM!!!!!!
I recently met Gerry and I still would like to suck his face. They still sound great live and put on a great show.
