  • es muy pelacable pero guenicimo

  • This song loops in my head whenever I rape and or kill people.

  • Mr. bungle are fucking god

  • I love this song.

  • Trippiest vid I've ever seen, hands down.

    Incredible musician, though.

  • lol i think my comment was misinterupted i was talking to the other guy, i think this band is pretty unique and good.

  • and lmao to the RUSH guy

  • yea i kno all that already, thanx 4 the reminder. but anywhos...this is a great band

n mike patton is a great man. n thats bout all i can say, let the music speak for itself.

  • that guy is a disgrace to Rush. Rush was one of the pioneers of prog rock which involved diff time signatures.this band is pretty good, just the lyrics are so ridiculous lol.

  • a disturbing video

  • mr. bungle sound like a mixture of icp and sublime its pretty sweet when they mix together.

  • yeah, go ride your skateboard and leave the listening to the pros

  • fuck you, Mr. Bungle fucking rules, they heavily influenced many bands of today including bands like Slipknot and are the coolest experimental funk metal bands I know of. You don't know shit.

  • OH MY! Just try to to imitate any of that, fgt

  • actually mike patton is a world renowned singer, and the reason you think its off beat is because they dont use regular time signatures.

so enlighten me; what bands SHOULD I listen to?

  • lol rushmasturbator. you've got to learn that everyone has a different way of doing things. besides, i don't see why people obsess over a band like that. fans can ruin it for everyone.

  • Quite Possibly the coolest video clip ever!!!

  • Patton is the son of Zappa

  • Dude, You're fucking shit! Jump in a blood pool of sharks

  • This is the most hilarius AND creepiest video I've ever seen!

  • You havent heard of him? where have you been man!

  • oh and its not a guy, its a band that was named after a kids' television cartoon. just giving you the info...

  • Wow, I've never even heard of this guy, this song is awesome

  • This guy is Mike Patton. Lead singer of faith no more. Heard of him now?

  • How is this rare? Just cause MTV didn't play it?

  • yeah exactly dude. MTV and rap destroyed music i believe. MTV made people only know songs that have music videos along with them on their channel, so that when people say they like a song, they only like it because they mostly like video, and not even half of the real song. it also destryoed the meaning of an album. rap destroyed music because now even just so called rock artists are using computer made background beats with their vocals, ultimately barely using any real instruments at all.

  • rap did not destroy music, you used a non sequitur to imply that because rap uses computer generated (actually usually MPC compiled samples) that music has somehow degraded, but rich music can be created with drum machines, computers, samplers etc.

I agree about MTV limiting exposure to artists that bank, but just as you and I have listened to the likes of Mr Bungle, anyone is free to seek out greener pastures if they are dissatisfied with what they've got.

  • yeah that is true

  • Exactly. It's not rare at all.

  • mike patton is a god, i mean check it, every bit of is work is like a masterpiece everytime, and FNM is as GREAT!

  • yip this is insane as mike patton, check out carousel, its really good too, but this is my fav song, mosley was pretty cool too

  • ha ha i didnt find anything scary.. i actually laughed xD

o and isnt the name "mr bungle" from a pee wee skit?

  • I'm not. At least that's what people tell me. Go figure?

  • IndEEd

  • It's the Time, It's the Place, It's the Motion.

  • I used to take acid and listen to this record over and over when I was in highschool.

  • same here man

  • It's a miracle you're still sane!

  • classic

  • I got realy scared:D

  • i remember when i first saw this late one night on rage when i was younger.

i had never seen something like this, so amazingly weird, i fucking love it and this clip has always stuck in my mind. great song.

  • tämä bändi on pelottava

  • mr bungle is fucking awesome

  • Easily one of the weirdest things I've seen but impossible to hate. And the song is really bad ass.

  • mike paton is awesome

  • You can tell Korn completely ripped them off.

  • Well, yeah to a bit. This band seems a hell of alot more creative than Korn. I love Korn but compared to this......well just listen and compare

  • lol really? i don't see it. Which element did they rip off?

  • I stumbled across it too... and I thought it ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!

  • patton eheh

  • this video isnt being very cooperative. im trying to drag the song back to the start but it wont let me :( hmph! ahhwell

  • This is the third time that's happened to me

  • yup. me to.

  • Patton is a genius!mtv wouldnt play this vid cus of the hanging people! and obviously travolta had somethin to say about the origional name!

  • Right you are. Travolta's people threatened to su, so they changed the name of the song, to the name of Travolta's biography "Quote Unquote" So they ended up sticking it to him LoL

  • Such a weird video, so awesomely creepy haha.

  • This reminds me of the time I cut up a doll and baked it into a cake.... mmmmm.. baby cakes!

  • oh i just came.

    lol

  • Musically, Mr. Bungle is the most awesome band ever if you ask me.

  • oooh yes, I love this band!

  • it's experimental music, what did you expect?

  • than why the fuck are u watching it u fucking cock mongruel?! mike patton has more talent in his fingernail than u could put out in a lifetime u cumguzling fuck...

  • Mr Bungle es la mejor banda del mundo!!!

    Callate pelotudo.

  • I think

    you have no

    taste

    in good music!

    you need to try to

    open

your mind up a little more and just

    enjoy it.

  • STFU

  • Best unclassifiable song ever written. Lol.

  • this song is creepy, but i like it. The musicvideo is even creepier, but i like it xD

  • damn mike patton is awesome any body know what hes doing now

  • well he has done very much sins this but right now: italian music with an orchestra.

  • thnx i saw tomahawk open for tool once that was kool

  • Oh crazy, I'd love to have seen that.

  • like David Lynch. I visited David's exhibition in Paris and feel was just the same.

  • ok What the hell was that.

  • Mr. bungle sounds like all and nothing at the same time

  • extremely rare? O_o

  • This video was banned from several music channels.

  • True. And there's some jazzy moments in there.

  • Not like this song, but I mean you can hear the influences in SOAD's music and Serj's style. KoRN isn't nearly this complicated and Head's riffs might sound sort of like the riffs in this song...but I don't see a connection in all the other songs

  • No. System of a Down's first album sounds like Mr. Bungle. Go listen to Peephole.

  • Well ok maybe not sound like but that album definitely uses the same techniques.

  • That last line about them being commercially successful was kind of a joke. IT would never sell to the masses known as the public. But they are great treasure thats for sure. The whole slipknot thing should be dropped. Enjoy the song thats why this band recorded it.

  • The only reason Mr. Bungle wore costumes and USED ALIASES on the sefl titled record is because they didn't want people to now it was the singer of Faith No More who made the record. They wanted it to sell onit's own merit. If you notice Disco Bolante and California they have their names and no costumes. I guess Mr. Bungle never became a commercial success. Bummer really, nobody knew what they were missing.

  • A have a small tribe of monkeys living in my butt! I never knew this until I played some Mr Bungle and they all came out and did a dance for me.

Mr Bungle = Disclosing hidden butt monkey tribes since 1998 (unless someone had a tribe of monkeys in their butt earlier?)

    PS, I love audio preview....

    And Mr Bungle.

  • these guys wore the masks a decade before slipknot....so many artists in so many ways were inspired by Mike Patton

  • Proud to say I gave my neighbors nightmares with this video.

  • This is one of my favorite MrBungle's self-titled album. Great album.

  • is that called visionary or pure freak ??? Anyway ill alway's love the music of mr bungle !!!

  • Rofl I love Mr bungle

    This is scary fucking music

and Trevor Dunn can play that fucking bass like there's no tomarrow.

  • before i first listened to Mr Bungle, my music collection was limited. Mr Bungle made me realise that music can be so much more creative, people who dismiss it as "weird" are mostly those who listen to radio-friendly rubbish every day of their lives that sounds like a million other bands, but they automatically think it's good because everyone else likes them, and I for one I will never buy into that. Mr Bungle are truly unique, Mr Bungle are one of the greatest bands ever to exist.

  • cool

  • Whoa, that's some funky acid, man... I love it!

My favourite Mr. Bungle song! :-)

  • wacky and awesome fucking love it!!

  • I love this song and vid but what does it have to do with John Travolta or his book?

  • This song makes me feel sick... in a good way. : )

  • this song makes me feel sick :(

  • if it wasn't for this band slipknot wouldn't be around

  • "if it wasn't for this band slipknot wouldn't be around"

You say that like it's a bad thing...

  • no not bad just annoying that Maggots diss this and don't even know the truth

  • Well, of course Maggots diss Mr. Bungle.

Anybody who likes Slipknot is at high risk for hating anything with even a shred of artistic credibility.

  • Not quite everyone. I like both.

  • Right one thing guys. I respect the fact that you don't like nu metal but seriously you're such hypocrites. To complain when maggots diss Mr Bungle and then to diss an ENTIRE GENRE yourselves. To look at music from an entirely artistic OR entirely entertainment-based perspective is extremely close-minded and both groups are in the wrong. I check on the merit of both. Mr Bungle are better than Slipknot, I'm not denying that, but at least have some basic level of respect for other bands.

  • Honestly, nobody "has to" respect anyone or anything. Personally, I feel that Slipknot have become nothing more than a cheap regurgitation of what has come before them; for trying to be metal their music is far too complex, and they are very unoriginal to boot. Mr. Bungle, on the other hand, were innovative and talented in a way that few people can really understand. And, I CAN dis the entire genre of Nu-Metal, because frankly, I've listened to much of it, and I think that it all sucks.

  • No band in the world sounds like Mr. Bungle, and only Slipknot ever tried, on one album with a different lead singer. So if you're talking about them as the band that Nu Metal is "regurgitating" then you can only point to "Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat."

Well whatever anyway, to each his own.

  • Such a nightmare... masked men pulling knives and saws out of their coats. David Lynch would love this.

  • i fucking love this song

  • -6 man youre a bitch

  • I tell Patton,"So many musicians from the nu-metal scene..."."Suck!"he hollers."claim you as an inspiration." "I hate all those people,"he says."I don't hear it in there.I think it's nice that they listened to that.If that's really true, you'd think they would have been able to do something with it.But I guess that's asking too much.So @!#$'em all!No mercy!"Patton pauses a moment after his mock outburst and adds,"Seriously,I accept no responsibility for that stuff."

    'nuff said!!!

  • thanks, i always wondered how music journalists are able to find similarities between as advanced music as mr. bungle and as mindless crap as most of the nu-metal. i see now that mike can't understand it either.

  • Very good! That'll teach 'em!

Seriously, how were those shitty nu-metal bands influenced by Mike Patton? Maybe they thought rapping on a rock song would be cool (I'm talking about Epic, one of the greatest songs ever made). It's a pretty superficial view of Patton's (and his band mates', too, don't forget about them) music, 'cause they don't stop at rapping but they go further on experimentation.

    Nuff' said.

This song is fucking awesome. Really weird, that's why I love it!

  • This song makes me severely constipated AND I LOVE IT!

  • those lynched people are being supported by a back support. When you seen a real hanging body which I have, you know how much they really weigh. its terrifying.

  • thats...disturbing. i dont think they were aiming for realism there

  • MOTHER FUCKING GODS,not just gods, but,MOTHER FUCKING GODS.

  • mmmmm this is awesome. <3

  • Mike Patton is sooo freaking awesome

  • haha

  • I heard this song on in the early hours of the morning... just relaxing.. watching rage.

Pretty scary song and filmclip, but still great. And yeah, Slipknot and them would have been something great.

  • Love this band. Experimental and Wonderful. Ive heard all their early demo tapes. Not as good as this

  • Are you frikin kidding me??!! You evidently don't listen to either of them do you¿ Both are good but nothing alike!!!

  • Also sounds a lot like the intro to "Love Songs for a Witch" by Dog Fashion Disco. Funnly enough: This still beats them. One of the originals, one of the best :)

  • Greatness.

  • Slipknot were after Mr. Bungle and have acknowledged Mr. Bungle as a great influence, sadly Mike Patton has expressed to have little interest in this ...

  • yer it is aye Would of been sick 2 great bands coming 2 gether hahahahaha come

  • I could hear Patton singing about of 'Grease' in the middle there.

What is this song about, John Travolta or was is it just a big coincidence!?

  • originally called travolta, his label had a hissy fit and made them rename it to quote unquote which is the name of travolta's biography

  • Slipknot ripped these guys off so bad

  • you're kidding, man

    this is another level!

  • lots of people and bands have worn costumes while playing

they eventually dropped it, anyways. they did it mostly to hide their identities but stopped once people figured it all out.

  • but u must admit in thus vid its kinda like bondage style masks

  • hay guys i herd u liek the residents

  • this patton type is amazing, what the f...is he doing with his vocal!

  • their music is creepy and awesome at the same time. no way u cant love it! lol

  • Love this band. Experimental and Wonderful. Ive heard all their early demo tapes. Not as good as this, except Bowl of Chiley...

  • This song makes me soooooooo happy xP

  • weird video great song

  • tatata

  • bad video,great great song.

  • perfect fusion!

  • really guys, no joke :

i hate it so much that i like it...

i can´t explain it its really strange

i think sounds like this are dangerous...

  • Disturbing and absolutely wonderful.

  • excellent. theres something deeply disturbing about the Bungle....love it

  • man I'm so glad you posted this

  • ...and they say Slipknot is an original band...

  • no band, not even bungle is TRULY original. although bungle blasts slipknot out of the water

  • genius

  • because people cant understand it

  • Can I ask why was this banned from MTV? I don't really see anything wrong with this vid..

  • Could be the dude with the old man mask running along the traintracks with his pants down, with a little girl doll. I dunno, mtv sucks ass.

  • According to Wiki: "MTV . . . refused to air the video because of images of bodies dangling on meat hooks."

  • wtf u freaks, i liked it it was cool

  • Everything Mike Patton does is f'n genius. \m/

  • this video isnt rare, its one of the only bungle videos i ever see

  • I miss the Bungle . . .:(

  • This video aired on MTV, it isn't very rare. This video was banned from MTV.
