As much as I love Sonic 1, Sonic 2 was better in every way. 2 was the first Sonic game I played and it is my personal favourite.

i say Sonic The Hedgehog is the best Sonic game. You got great soundtracks and everything the only thing i miss is the Spin Dash but this game was introduced before it so whatever and you don't even need it.

I also like Classic Sonic more than Modern Sonic but probably because i haven't played much 3D games

Clement didn't mention that if you stay on the block segments too long (the outer box that borders the area) they will eventually turn INTO goal spheres without warning and force you out of the stage. I'm not sure if that was a glitch, or if that was supposed to happen, but I screwed this special stage up before because that happened to me once.

Clement, I still have all of the classic Sonic Genesis games minus Sonic CD for the Sega CD. I still play them to death. I am 26 years of age and living in the USA dammit, and I can get all of the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 3 and Knuckles like they're nothin'. That's how good of a Sonic player I am. You have a fan in me. lol Watching this actually made me feel nostalgic. I used to play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 back when I visited my family in Indiana when I was a wee kid, and it was the first Sonic game I played since I used to watch the cartoons with Dr. ROBOTNIK (lol). I always got stuck in one stage, and in the end, I gave up. But I still loved it, and when it came out in game collections or downloadable in the 360, I was SO happy.

Maybe I should play this game again. It seems fun.

In America, Eggman wasn't referred to as Eggman until Sonic Adventure, in which he was always saying that his name was Robotnik. He hated only hated the name Eggman in Sonic Adventure. The name stuck, and ever since Sonic Adventure 2, he has referred himself as Eggman.
