@GoldenLacing these are fuel injected bikes, its the fuel pump that you are hearing I'm pretty sure. if you open your car door, with your belt in and turn the key to the running position, you should be able to hear it run for a second or two on your vehicle. i think I'm right but i could be wrong so i wouldn't bet on it but I'm fairly sure thats what it is, if I'm wrong correct me then haha

@GoldenLacing Sound that you are hearing is a fuel pump test. If you hear the sound you have a go, if you dont, rest in peace ;) Some bikes have louder test, some you cant even hear...

@blacksoilder10 yes. no one wants to know how the exhaust sounds at full rev in neutral gear...because every bike listens like the other when you do this. and the engine doesnt like it too...AND its not cool. i know that the exhaust sounds sweet..but not at 14.000rpm...people want to know how the bike listens at 4000-10.000rpm...thats the normal speed when your driving.
