I saw these guys 3 or 4 times before I saw the real Morrissey and I hate to say it but these guys were, not better sounding, but a whole lot more fun that the real thing. They play all the favorites and sound so close that if you close your eyes, you'd think you were actually experiencing The Smiths in their prime. Great Band!

Where' s Joe Escalante??? Saw these guys in the 90's at the Smiths Conventions and they sucked then and still do. The musicians play the song but the singer bugs me. Try listening to there original stuff its even worst...the great procrastinator blows. Mike Joyce needs to sue them too and punch them all in the face to wake them up. They are the only game in town and they're lame... I just want to hear Joe Escalante play Moz and Lt Dangle sing into his loofah.

sounds good but like the other people that have commented about the fact that they are trying to be the real band instead of a band that plays cover songs. it's like the cover band "these charming men or man" I forgot which one, they are really good but the singer totally tries to be morrisey it's kind of creepy. hey but thses guy's are good it take some skill to play these song's.

when it comes to cover bands noone can win, i think this guys are great, but if the singer tries to be like morrissey its not going to work some people, and if he doesnt its not going to work for others, i think this dude does a great job, and he is happy and we are all happy for him.

They are a really good covers band. Not sure what else to say but they do a good job.

I think the voice tone IS quite similar to Morrissey's voice. In some instances it's astonishingly close. Guitars also sound very nice (even though the opening chord should be fuller, that guy with the Gretsch is only playing the top 3 strings).

i like these guys, ive seen them live. while he doesnt exactly have the whole moz voice thing going, its still good because i mean, fuck, comparing someone to morrissey is pretty much impossible. his voice is so unique and it can only be imitated to a very little degree. give these guys a break, they're uplifting and entertaining. where else can you go to a venue and sing your heaert out to smiths/moz songs? they're the closest anyone is ever going to get to seeing the smiths.

I agree with you that its good to hear a cover band, and Im sure these guys do a good job, I just think that taking on the persona of Morrissey instead of being yourself is a sign of obsession or lack of self esteem or identity. Yet, us humans have a right to do what we want and find our own path to happiness
