the red zig zag lines i guess (bloodvessels?) in the skin... when you treat those with this procedure do the same zig zags ever come back? or does it zap them for good?
@MarkissBeauty should be fine, not sure what you really mean by making an epidode, but feel free to link to it or add to your favorites if interested.
You can do darker skin types even up to skin type 3-4. If you have a darker skin type like yours you should always do a test spot first to make sure you don't have hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation response. I would give it at least a week to see response before doing a full face.
fractional is your best bet for icepick/boxcar scars from acne. Ipl may help some, but you really need to go deeper with fractional to stimulate collagen to fill in. multiple tx's will be needed. thanks fred grover jr md
Thanks for your answer, but do you think the brand of the laser machine makes big difference ? you know here in Switzerland I asked many doctors about the Fraxel re:store but they don't have it, they use the Palomar nonablative laser. Also a dermatologist adviced the CO2 re:paire Fraxel, so I am very confused, May you advice me please because I trust American Doctors more than the Swiss :-)
I've seen the palomar fractional work well, and I think you'll be just as happy with the results. Fraxel is great too, but I haven't seen any head to head comparisons showing one is better than the other. I don't have the nonablative fractional yet, but have used it in demo on several patients and know several derms in denver that are happy with it.
economicspolitics: I read your concern, palomar is not good at all it is not broved by the FDA, fraxel is the best and as you can see everybody knows Fraxel but nobody knows palomar. Even there is no videos talking about Palomar in youtube, all videos about fraxel, so why ?!!
anamenfalastin: Palomar is well known and developed more products than fraxel, today many doctors prefer Palomar. Fraxel was the first laser so who starts firstly becomes the most famous and they advertise more than Palomar. Youtube is not important because anyone can upload a video. I had my first treatment of Palomar Lux1540 nonablative, no downtime, no pain, less expensive than fraxel, even it does not require sun protection, and my doctor and Dr Grover said both Palomar and Fraxel are great.
I don't own the 1540 yet, but would like to get one. From what I've researched they seem pretty equivalent. It's nice to be able to do it on the same platform. FG
I just had this treatment done for the first time. I am very impressed with the results. I did not experience any discomfort during or after treatment. Did not hurt or sting.
like I said before, I have large pores on my nose, I went to a spa place and was recommended to do package of 5 micropeel and that would help with my pore size, what do you think of that? the staff also said I could do IPL on my nose only in between the package treatment, does that sound reasonable? your advice is appreciated!

is there a certain skin type that should not be using this treatment? For example certain skin tones? I have medium brown skin.

How much does it cost for all three sessions and would it completely clear up my rosacea?
lezdoit123123 2 years ago
we charge 340 per tx, and give 15% off for a series of 3. Works very well for rosacea with 90% of folks noting major improvement.

what was you treated for? I have large pores on my nose, and wonder if it'd reallyyy help.?
kiwi780 2 years ago
I had it done because I have some scars due to acne, sunspots, discoloration ( that look like freckles) and upper lip and chin hair removal.
I also had enlarged pores and noticed in my case a dramatic reduction, a pleasant surprise!
csulbmsw2009 2 years ago
yes it does work well for pore size reduction. fred grover jr md
