In the beginning it was her voice that made her one of the most outstanding artists of our generation, but since the last decade, it has become so apparent that its her songwriting...'Conformed To Love', 'Guarding The Gates', 'Just Like Water', 'Oh Jerusalem', 'The Mystery Of Iniquity', 'Adam Lives In Theory'....such deep truths lie within her songs. She is a genius!

@lildude626 ya I relate this to losing myself in Jesus Christ and finally found a true love that is healing, restoring, sanctifying, renewing, rejuvenating and reconciling. This is one of my favorite songs
@countofmonetcristo80 thats exactly what Lauryn is talking about... all that was sacrificed to show God she truely loved him now and that she would know longer have any ties with satan and that included his jobs and his money and she really depicts the love story of one who knew not and gained the knowledge of Christ... check out the WHOLE unplugged thats when i knew she was free of that bondage lol I LOVE IT! even with her being hoarse
