I agree with Kunderin,because maybe FFVI had the best story but overall game mechaniccs are far better in the newer FF's,and dont get me wrong i enjoyed FF VI A LOT,but now it's AD 2009 and i want to enjoy newer game mechanics and newer graphics,so it would be good when they would make a remake for PS3

I love this game... brilliant soundtrack, brilliant character personalities, everything was good, even if the graphics weren't the best... A DS port would be good, but they wouldn't be able to add that much to it because it was excellent the first time around, and every time that followed...

@handsock they could never EVER find a suitable voice actor for Kefka. because no one would be able to do his laugh. Kefka is far and above my favorite villain and i hate how they portray him as a clown like in Dissidia.he has ONE clown sprite when you fight him in narche. but he never acts like a stupid clown. he's an evil sadistic psychopathic batshit insane sociopath. and should be portrayed as one with the proper laugh.

He's an actor who also does a bit of voice work. One example (what I had in mind, actually) would be Jon Irenicus from Baldur's Gate 2. Search for "irenicus redeem this" on this site for a tribute video.

Hard to say. FF6 has already been remade...*counts* three times? Once on the PS1, AGAIN on the PS...something, and then once for the Game Boy Advance.

And personally I'd rather see 6 remade in full PS3 3D, if it's going to happen. Something to preserve the beauty of the original art.

But then Squenix doesn't seem to be as desperate to remake things as, say, Hollywood. So it's not likely to happen unless they think it can make them money.

But with the fan response to Dissidia, who knows?

you want to know what's a shame whit all of noboo song? its that in this wolrd you are only good if your know world wide. not by the gammer people and that's a shame cause those song are so good they could be use for all sort play they could be played in real opera or real voice vocal adaptation the fact that he dint yet is only cause those are game songs and they will never really be listen to by people because they judge by saying its just a game song well up yours all of you who think that!

the tone of the wind instrument (guess it's a flute, but i can't really tell) is a lot softer here than the snes version. I like it. Also the background sounds a little softer. Nice work, but i was really expecting a somewhat arranged version when i read the words remade on the title
