Not necessarily. Some people don't like drawing with pen first because when we sketch with a pencil, we can do changes.

Such as, (This happens to me a lot) my hand suddenly goes off from tracing the original line and ends up looking a lot better than what I did earlier.

So, I could easily erase the original one, and keep my "messed up" one.

Other than just a pen, it's permanent. So you either have to start all over, or stay with that original line.

Sketchers are more precise
