i think just about the only people who have musical experience in this movie are the wind players and a hand full if that, of percussionist. i hate how they play their basses. i kno its suposed to be fun and a southern band but plz, at least some descent technique. I think they shouldn't have tried to do it with real actors. They should have cast people who actually play in drumlines and teach them to act instead of visa versa. learning how to play like a pro takes years and dedication. acting...there are people who do it well, but directors still cast people like ben affleck and it still seems to suffice for the general public.
