I currently live in NC and can't wait to move to the Satellite/Cocoa Beach area in a few years once my girlfriend gets out of College. The beauty of the ocean...nothing else compares. =)
i grew up in satellite beach (went to sea park elementary ) i now live about 20 min away. i love the beaches here they hold so many memories for me and a real special place in my heart. i have moved away a couple times and am always drawn back. i am very happy to hear that it is a special place for so many people. great video

That video brings back memories of my teenage years. I used to live there and went to satellite high school. I know right where you are i have been on those beaches so many times through the years. i used to surf right where you guys are on the first part of the video. i miss it so much, as i live in fort worth tx now :[ Thank you so much for this video!
@gt5freak Now that is cool... I'm glad it brought back some memories for you. My Grandparents lived right across A1A from this area of the beach so whenever we visited them we would head to this area and soak up the sun and beach. We lived with them for a short period and went to the schools there also. We get back there every so often to remember it, nobody in the area anymore since my Grandparents have passed. @seahue Yeah the Piper didn't seem to afraid of me. Looking back now I wish I had filmed more from this beach :-( Lot's of good stuff along the shores. I had a limit to my storage of video though on my camcorder and this was the first place I filmed so I wanted to make sure I had enough room for my entire vacation.. I had five more days to go..
That's really a nice video! Truly a beautiful beach. I loved this sandpiper (a discovery for me) and the final part is really stunning. Good to see such beautiful works. 5/5 .VF

Watched a lot of Spaceships go up from there , and some cool Shuttle Launches also Chris those were from the Boat , Hope you had a great VaCa . :o)tm *****
@uncledave10 Now that is something I have not been able to do from Satellite Beach. I have been there many many times but just never the right time to see anything launch from the Cape! Especially at night! it would be cool to see something launch in person. I bet seeing it from the boat was fantastic! with the reflection from the water, that would be so cool to see.
