my high school story with this song.... i walked out of high school in middle of winter one year, maybe 2000, i had my back pack and disc man in it, of course. it was snowing. alot of snow. and i walked, and walked, for the entire day, in a snow storm, i was so wet. but, fuck school. i think i walked away right in front of the principal and told him to try and stop me. this song is so melancholy in its feel that i think this song brings that back.

@sirexodia I thought maybe the "it's who I am" was in response to the "Lars is a fuck" crap or whatever... but clearly I was wrong, I was a bit intoxicated at the time. I apologize. This is a great song and one of my favorites.
What a great damn band! This song was blaring through my stereo when I got in a car accident on a rainy, early drive to high school in 1998. Almost killed my best friend and seriously injured my girlfriend. First time I heard this song in 12 years and Rancid still only brings back the good memories!
I love this album! The Clash influence is so strong.
