  • wth is this guy saying?

  • If these drugs he's been creating clear consciousness and make you more self-aware, then why does he look like a crazed slumped fore-headed neanderthal who appears to lost in some kind of trance all the time? Why is he having ischemic strokes and in and out of the hospital with circulatory collapse and gangrene? Oh and I bet it's not caused by all of those heart-attack inducing amphetamines he's been making and popping his whole life. My grandmother is near 90 and she's so much more alert.

  • @JasonSims1984 And my grandmother of 90 has chewed tobacco her entire life and my grandpa died at 60 of lung cancer from smoking... what is your point? Old people have strokes? And what the fuck does physical appearance have to do with anyone's mental or physical health? Are you that dense? Son, I am disappoint.

  • i miss Terence Mckenna =/

  • these people (Timothy Leary, Alexander Shulgin, and Terrence McKenna) are probably my biggest idols

  • this is good

  • LOL murple u ledgend!!

  • 2:00 OMG ALIENS!

  • Шульгин молодчага

  • "It's a great PLURvige to be here" lol

  • @ostrichjerky23ok hah that's awesome

I didn't catch that, good ear for that.

    :D

  • THIS is the man! Can everyone say, "NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for you, Mr. Shulgin..."

  • I second that motion.

  • If only there were some kind of petition we( in the collective) could start...I'm certain MANY more would sign! His studies, and discoveries are More than worthy...

  • Not to mention his message of enlightenment and peace. His quest has been nothing more than to expand our minds and bring us closer together. Bottom line, he's done way more than Obama... Shulgin actually did something.

  • Well said. Also, what Alexander Shulgin does for us, at his expense, could easily cost him his life...check him out on Erowid's Character Vaults.

  • Seriously... like haven't been through Erowid Vaults. Come on dude. So hey, do you think that poster for $150 is really signed by him or a copy type deal? I've been eyein that up now for some time.

  • Sorry, I should have figured...It was really signed by him. He's spoken at the Burn, in reference to erowid, and he signs everything he's asked to...might want to recheck that price, though. I think only more expensive ones are left!(I'd love something signed by him!)

  • nobel prize for chemistry as well

  • Exactly! His brilliance lies in his chemistry...Takes poison to make magic!

  • @TMKchld

Psychedelics aren't poisonous by any reasonable definition.

  • @drewmandan I'm afraid you misunderstood me. I meant that the psychedelics are the magic...

  • @TMKchld Sorry, I'm just so used to dealing with idiots that think psychedelics cause brain hemorrhages and stuff like that.

  • @drewmandan I understand the misinterpetation And the logic!!!...visit my channel to see how I feel about psychedelics!!!

  • This is interesting. Thanks for making this available.

  • thanks for hosting

  • Ecstasy is "mind control poison?"

Let me guess: it puts holes in the brain, it causes Parkinson's disease, and it has no use in psychotherapy.

Because the government says so, and hey, the government would never lie.

  • 'mind control poison' - you're making things up, or retelling false statements you've heard. it's not your fault I guess. you probably think you have the best intentions.

try some LSD or mushrooms sometime, you won't believe you ever thought such nonsense.

  • no it's not. you're making things up again.

  • I don't think you read that right, if you even klan read

  • sounds like it's time for you to wake up. you sound like a silly little girl.

  • what business does a decietful promoter of mind control poison to have anything to do with someone who discovered the essence of life by accident. hoffmann never produced acid on a large scale, to give to people and it was therefore a masquerade of charlatans

  • Very cool. Shulgin changes history with the snap of his fingers. The man is practically a god.

  • He learned well from his psychedelic use.

  • This is Murple... the incident Shulgin is referring to here was quite mindblowing. I posted the thing about 5-MeO-DALT on a private section of my web site. After a few days, it occured to me that leaving the recipe part in might be problematic for a few reasons, so I removed that part. In the blink of an eye, I was told about a company that was selling the stuff after getting their hands on the recipe. Insane!
