These hymns remind me of a child growing up in the West Indies. Those days were the good old days when songs like these would convict a sinner and bring him closer to Christ, that gentle Shepherd, so forgiving. There is sooooo much sin in the world today...but we take heart knowing Jesus is coming very soon.
