How interesting. When Idol Came to San Antonio,I went with 4 friends and myself and 2 of my friends passed a few rounds. But eventually I was cut by a british guy named Nigeal. He said I sounded like a Caberet Singer. Not Idol. That was a wonderful exeperience and I recommend if anyone is trying to get in the industry it is good to see how cut and dry the industry really is. much love

I agree they let some great singers In, but they let bad ones in and made fun of them on TV. You know they auditioned them before they made it in front of Simon but they let them pass anyway knowing they would hurt them on camera in front of millions

Yes I remember some lunny dude in a Batman suite went through to meet the judges. Some singers went through the 3 preliminary rounds dressing up in costumes just so they can make it to hollywood and it worked. I just could do that.

I've been to real auditions and that was nothing like it. It was more of a TV audition Being able to sing was just a benefit. Not the main focus of their audition. You must have made it through for looking right and sounding good. Because I know you Danny and You have a beautiful voice. I know because I heard you live at That benefit for Yolanda remember?

The producers that were holding auditions did not let me pass through to see Simon Randy or Paula. I did see the show and some of the ones that passed were bad and it was heart breaking to see them make fun of them and crush their dreams in front of Millions.

I don't agree with them letting bad singers in and breaking their hearts in front of millions of people.Those singers have to go back home humiliated and the contract you sign says you agree that they can humiliate you, publicly ridicule you, and you may be shunned by the public afterwards. No I don't think it's random. I think they let a few great singers through. But I saw too many that were really great too. they were all over the place and they didn't make it through. I felt more bad for them, because I already assumed I wouldn't go through. But I was hoping. But they really were wanting it bad and they were soooo upset to not even get a chance.
