• But the music stay always forever...

  • GOOSE BUMPS AND TEARS!!!!!!!!!

  • To the little groupies: ANYONE, including myself can express an opinion. That it does not agree with a fan's opinion is of no concern. It is everyone's inherit right to do so. Cease offering advice to others you know nothing of, and accept the reality that others do not share your predilection with worship. Further; grow up and cease responding or you will be reported and your account will be disabled.

  • @PlayerObserver I am pretty sure that worship is for the Lord. As you've said, everyone has a right to an opinion. But to call people "little groupies"? That sounds personal... and weird. I'm also fairly sure that if you took this up with Youtube, that once they saw everyone's comments, nobody's accounts would be disabled. Why is this so important to you?

  • "She sings well, but is NOT Janis no matter how much she may be told so." - PlayerObserver

I don't want to be a total jerk, but your comments were personal against her, and I'm just sticking up for someone with talent. Not "worship" as you put it. I just find it funny that you are only posting on Mary's videos, so maybe you are someone with a grudge, or nothing better to do than piss people off. Go ahead and report me, your threats mean nothing to me. So you, grow up.

  • @DWdrumBum true true, this woman's got talent, I saw her live yesterday(!) in a small club in a Swiss town with big brother&the holding co. ...that woman(and the rest of the guys) was soo hearty, her voice was great and she kept looking into people's eyes and really communicating with the audience; very affectionate.

  • Oh no, my account will be disabled! Really? Now I'm laughing, because this is getting ridiculous.

  • Mary is an incredible singer and puts so much feeling in her performances. I get goose bumps when I listen to this song in particular. She is mesmerizing to see live as well. I've seen her perform in "Love, Janis" in Kansas City as well as a blues festival in Parkville, MO. I am a big fan for sure. Well done, Mary!

  • "Pity she hasn't found a voice of her own." Really? Pity that you haven't checked out her debut CD or upcoming CD of all original material, which can be found on her website, facebook fan page, and myspace page.

  • god this guy with the skull shirt puts more energy into moving his body than actually playing well hahaha

  • ...Nobody is Janis but Janis, and she is with her maker- Mary Bridget Davis is a Cleveland native who has had some great success and the city is proud of her. Why dog her? She does a great job, and doesn't always try to sing like Janis when she isn't fronting a Janis band. No need to insult her, she's really talented, and that's really mean. R.I.P. James Gurley :(

  • She sings well, but is NOT Janis no matter how much she may be told so. She makes a good effort, but ought to listen to Maggie Bell, study more. Surprising as she had time to perfect it being an understudy in the JJ play. The guitarist is good, but needs pointers on what to play. 80s riffs don't update a 60s classic. One listen to the original guitarist's playing illustrates my point. Overall, congrats on her success in getting the gig. Pity she hasn't found a voice of her own.

  • Along with checking out Mary's CDs, you should also check out the numerous stellar reviews of her in the Love Janis show, with Big Brother, or performing with her own band. You might be interested to know that Sam Andrew of BBHC holds Mary and Ben (the guitarist) in very high esteem. He states this in his forum on Big Brother's website and in interviews here on you tube. Frankly, I value his opinion more than yours.

  • It's funny how the internet gives everyone the ability to be a critic. I'm guessing that you either have no talent, or that you are just jealous of people that DO have talent and the drive to gift it to the world. I would be interested in seeing your extensive musical background, as you appear to be an expert. In the future, please keep your trash talking about a topic you know nothing about to yourself, and let people who appreciate good music do so without reading your ignorant words.

  • Amen.

  •
James Gurley hasn't played with them for decades.
He stopped playing with them in 1997, not quite decades.. sadly he passed away a week ago. :(

  • @staaarboy my bad, i had no idea that their last gig together was 1997. i thought it was late 80's. ty for setting the record straight. :)

  • This is the amazing Mary Bridget, but those guys are not BBHC. Who is she with here?

  • Dave Getz and Peter Albin from the original BBHC are on this video. James Gurley hasn't played with them for decades. The younger guitar player is Ben Nieves from Cleveland, OH like MB and on this vid, the other guitar player is Greg Douglas from Steve Miller Band (originally). Sam Andrew is still part of BBHC but wasn't at this particular gig.

  • please BBHC.. get rid of that younger dude... gosh..

    Thanks for the post!

  • saw mary bridget and the band in victoria the other night - spectacular! she is really something

  • fender bender thats right

  • Now thats how its done! Janis would be proud of that one! Very nice job!

  • this is incredibly emotional! i hope janis was watching from the sky. she must be proud!
