Ok Punk and Metal are Completely two different Genres but they both from the begining even thugh there were some issues between the two scenes at the time) but I don't know if u already know this but Punk and Metal from time has been trading influences in music, attitude, and mind concept. Already we have tons of different sub Genres in Metal kick serious ass like Extreme Metal for Example, and HxC has been getting getting influences from Extreme Metal as well, /Thrashcore/Crust/Grind etc..

It made it into the top 40s in the us billboards.
