  • scientests don't know anything!!! god made the world it didn't just form!!!

  • what if a living thing would fall into the lava

  • quick, get me some water!!!

  • Love seeing a Mormon commercial right before I watch a video titled: "The Hellhole of Creation"

  • :33 smiley face :)

  • Right title....THE HELLHOLE FOR CREATION

  • Don't Fall!

  • 1msbornagain Hi where is god? I wanna see him-her.

  • I alway heard science is out to prove that a God doesn´t exist. What a shame!

  • @1MsBornagain No. Religion proves that God is a mere fantasy by being so ridicule and obnoxious. Now please let real scientists do their work and improve human knowledge, which is what science is: real knowledge.

  • hey nat geo, thanks for the geico commercial!!!

  • You sound crazy and miserable. I'd rather Drink, Eat, and F**K, than WHINE, B*TCH, and MOAN like you. Party on dude! - Or complain about my response too. So sad.

  • @chessse and what's your basis on that? The sun is shrinking, all the time. it's burning out at an incredible rate, No, i don't mean OHMYGOD IT'S GOING TO GO OUT AND WE'LL DIE.

  • eehhm....no

the moon is too big and too planet like to have been a part of the eart :S

  • the earth is actually 13.75 billion years old

  • I think that's the age of our known universe. The Earth formed about 4 1/2 billion years ago.

  • shut da fuck up nd just watch the movie ur spoiling it for others!!!

  • misleading title, i thought it would be about scotland

  • scotland is not a hellhole!

  • thats so stupid "toss a cable into the lava hoping the lava will catch on to it " lol

of cours it will melt the cable wtf is in their heads

  • Shouldn't they be wearing gloves before touching the samples? I would think that you'd want to avoid contaminating subjects used to determine processes before life existed with hands complete with dead skin cells, sweat and dust mites. It's simple enough to wear gloves, after all, they have fire suits...

  • Imagine being the camera guy....

  • *it

  • We'll see who's right at the end of our own lives. Whether one is burning in hell or whatever.

  • Narcase : and your point is...?

  • Um? What I said wasn't a riddle or a puzzle. Its exactly what it says. D'Oh

  • Narcase : Duh! In short, from what vantage point did you write what you did? Are you a theist or an atheist? See? It is not as obvious as you think it is, for since your channel is desperately empty, one cannot get a clue from there as whether you say that as a believer or a non-believer. Hence my question.

  • "ur probably an athiest and thats ur right but what if i told u that i used 2 be just like u.obviously ive changed alot and i hope u would also. "

BAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I hope u would also believe in jesus lol! Wow you have REALLY touched me with your wisdom and intelligence I'm gonna go buy a bible right this instant oh looordyyyy!

  • LOOOL Amanda!!! Many people here have a sense of humor I just happen to adore, and you're one of them!!! ROTF!!! :D

  • ha thanks i am pretty hilarious arent i??

    ;)

  • You sure are, amanda! I'm sure that people around you NEVER get bored! :D

  • Please, stop filling YouTube with arguments that have little to do with the given video. I admire the zeal you two have for your own beliefs, but please take it somewhere else. Why not mail it directly to each other. Just saying...

  • audience23 : You do indeed speak words of wisdom. :)

  • Wonderful video. I have to say hats off to the men and women that venture into these volcanoes like that. I would like to see flowing lava one day, but I don't think I would have the "grapes" to go into one of those holes.

  • the problem is people try to 'humanize' god...whats to say he didnt create evolution? god doesnt have to be how we want him to be....

  • YuiTeub49 : I agree! ALL problems start when human beings project themselves on any god they happen to believe in.

  • The problem here bozos is that we do not have proof that God exists and we neither can't prove God doesn't exist....try not to explode kids thinking about it. lol

  • Strome88 : absolutely. Religion and science, like religion and politics, MUST be kept APART. Trying to mix the spiritual with the scientific is nothing but an exercice is futility. :)

  • Oops! I apologize! I got distracted and mispelled my last sentence. I meant to write : "an exercise in futility", sorry!

  • What was your sentence in the first place? lol

  • wow freaky

  • wow...that's really deep.

  • GearsAddictAlt : I fail to see your point. You think that science did exist when the Big Bang occured? LOL! Science can NOT prove or disprove any deity's existence. It is NOT the role of science, PERIOD, like it is NOT the role of religion to meddle in science or politics.

  • GearsAddictAlt : if you could ONLY write proper English, maybe, then just MAYBE, what you say wouldn't lead to confusion and misunderstandings. Why don't you go back playing GoW, Halo or CoD and vent your rage and anger THERE? If not, try to tone down your testoterone, young man, and act like a human being, not like some "macho hero" in some FPS, do we understand each other?

  • Um ok i dont understand why you would take your time looking up what I do instead of sucking dicks like you do! I am just saying that god and jesus don't exist! And you still didnt answer my question of who made god! you are just a poor soul just mad because i proved that god doesn't exist! And plus i saw that you commented on everybodys opinion here because it was on the same page! you fail at life you should just kill yourself

  • @ gearsaddict

you didnt prove anything, you did prove that you dont understand everything.

  • Gears : I can "sniff out" sociopaths like you miles away, and I was right on target about you. You pathetic looser. You proved NOTHING, except of course your appaling ignorance. As for my "failing in life", that one really cracked me up! LOL! STOP projecting YOUR own miserable life and failures on others! You react EXACTLY like the countless hardened criminals I had to deal with in my 30 years as a criminologist. And that's probably where YOU will end sooner or later : in PRISON.

  • you still didn't answer my question! Who made god? HAHAHAHAH do you really think I care what you say? And at least I'm not the one who is replying on everything in the comment boxes! And plus i"m not a sociopath, just a person asking who made god because I want to prove you wrong. Come up with a reasonable answer of who made God insread of bashing me

  • What you exude through your comments is tyypical of a sociopathic mindset. Besides, YOU are bent on imposing YOUR beliefs to everyone. You are a troll asking questions when you're not the least bit interested in a debate because your mind is already made up as you admitted it yourself ("I want to prove you wrong"). Science and religion do NOT mix, like politics and science DON'T. In short, you can NOT prove NOR disprove a deity's existence through science, period. Now go back playing, kid! :D

  • I am a troll for asking questions? If we didn't ask questions we wouldn't have what we have today. I never said science proved anything! I wasn't even saying anything about science. I believe you are the sociopath because you keep commenting on everybodys little rants. You are just mad that you have no proof of God or Jesus ever being real! God is a fake, the bible is just a book that a wise person made, and besides you can't turn water into wine! Don't make some bullshit either

  • Noone made god he is a spirit

  • That is a bit harsh...you didn't have to add the last sentence...if i wasn't an Atheist, i would ask you to go read a bible, to be at least a bit more moral!!

  • fuck off with ur god and jesus bullshit faggot fuck

  • Sorry to interrupt any persuasive conversations, Why do individuals such as yourself attempt to introduce the whole concept of Jesus's Love, Look I live life by A philosophy known as common sense, logic if U will, Now The fact that U base your actions on a book and the teachings of a "savior" Does not click in my mind, I can't comprehend how you people pray when God already has a divine plan in play, meaning everything happening was already thought out, how will prayer change that.

  • Czar : why do you assume that ALL believers think that there is some "divine plan" already made up? It's mostly FUNDAMENTALIST believers, i.e. those who stick to a literal interpration of the scriptures who do actually believe that. For me (and it's a very personal view), prayers are NOT aimed at changing something OUTSIDE of oneself, but rather things INSIDE oneself. But too many people confuse the deity they belive in with some Wizard of Oz! LOL! :P

  • Fundamentalist believers huh? What kind of believer are you? and is it Appropriate to say that you are better than those fundamentalist?

  • Czar : I am DIFFERENT, period.

  • See thats funny because I feel the same way, It's fine you choose not to answer the question, I understand.

  • Oops! Sorry! I meant to write "interpretation", of course! LOL! :)

  • before typing ever again consider making possible to read.

  • Note to self?

  • haha.. maybe i should get to sleep..

  • panthero: STOP PROSELYTISING! This is NOT the place to do that! Trying to convert other people to one's beliefs is tantamount to SPIRITUAL RAPE! So keep YOUR beliefs to YOURSELF, all right? We are here to speak about science, NOT about religion! I am also a believer, but do NOT feel the PATHOLOGICAL need to shove my beliefs down everybody's throats! Keep your faith to YOURSELF and RESPECT other people's beliefs, whatever they are, all right!!!

  • @dharamsala55 What in the... there's actually someone who thinks science isn't part of religions!? My goodness.

Religion may not be part of science, but science is part of religion as science and math make up everything. They are the study of our world. Religion are theories on how the world exists and why, but science coexists within those theories. If a religion happens to be true, it doesn't rid science of existence. If God makes islands fly, science explains what God did to do this. XD

  • @dharamsala55 Do you think that Jesus kept the truth to himself? Or is it sharing the truth that in the end matters?

  • @dharamsala55 someones dramatic.

  • Whal3N17 : at least, if you are to insult other people, believers or not, do it with STYLE, hhhmmm? :P

  • You can't show something scientifically, if it its spiritual. You're making an ass of yourself if you're trying to prove Creationisim in scientific form.

  • FAKE918 : That's exactly right! The same way that religion and politics do NOT mix, religion and science do NOT mix either! :)

  • they didnt even really talk about creation just that the earh was once hot and now its cool

  • Yeah I know,..But did you see that lava,..4.6 Billion years,..You would think It would be cool by now,...

  • "Fucking hell, Jesus Christ!!"

I put Jesus and Christ in my sentence, did I make you happy?

  • Earth created millions of years ago!!??. . .

    silly people. .

it was made 6000 years ago. . . the Bible said so

    :)

  • Oh wow... <.<

  • oh, you religious people and your beliefs.

i wrote the Bible as an April Fools joke. it's all a lie.

  • haha

  • fuck God.

  • ITT: Trolls and the trolled

  • please never post another comment... Actually never tell anyone that you believe that the earth is 6000 years old.. its embarassing.

  • don't feed the troll.. wonggongs. Panthero77. Oh please don't mix science with religion.

  • JIFITS : IF you are serious (and I insist : IF you didn't mean your comment as a JOKE), go seek psychiatric help real fast, for you're indeed in dire need of it. :P

  • Hm, strange that I am trying to carry an intelligent conversation and you are not. The overwhelming evidence is against evolution which is clearly your religion. This is evidenced by your lack of factual responses. Rather, all you are able to produce is usless rhetoric showing yourselves to be the religious zealots that you really are.

  • maybe you should go to school or do some reading or something, or maybe just pull your head out of the sand. Evolution is a fact. It is all around you

  • For your information, JIFITS, I am a believer, BUT one with brains, contrary to you, it seems! LOL! :D

  • 0/10 troll attempt

  • Dear mikerules999, here are some grammar lessons for your ignorant, redneck, narrow-minded ass (I assume that's where your brain is):

    لنفط يقلص خسائره والأسهم ترتفع

    مباحثات بين عباس وجونز

    أميركا تشكك بنجاح باكستان بسوات

    أوغلو: استقرار لبنان مهم لتركيا

    عقبات تعترض تشكيل حكومة إيران

    أميركا تهدد بريطانيا بوقف التعاون

  • mikerules999 : He's NOT writing in Farsi (Persian), you damn fool, but in Arabic! In either case, spare us your rabid racism! Why don't YOU go back to the dirty, smelly gutter of stark ignorance and appaling mediocrity where you came from and just STAY THERE!

  • mikerules999 : And I will now write as well in Arabic, BUT will be A WHOLE LOT LESS polite than marksteven was! oulild al khaba! ibne kelb! anikak! inta wehesh, qasar, wisikh, bakhil, magnoon wa shiriir! rehtak seyaara wa shaklak khara! boos tezi wa afshak kus omak! elf zubra fee teezak, inta sharmoot!

  • markstevenmorton : in all due respect, I fail to see here your lesson in grammar. You speak about America, Great-Britain, Iran, Pakistan, Lebanon...and a few other things...I know where you're heading, but I would just love it if you would be kind enough to translate it for the other people here...Unless you wish me to do it? LOL! :P

  • What Richard Jones and Mahmoud Abbas have to do with this trend of discussion? Besides, there's NOTHING NEW here for it dates back to 2007 if I recall correctly. Did you copy something from an Arabic website and paste it here? Are you THE Canadian writer Mark Steven Morton? If so, please stick to English etymology, for it looks (IF you understand what you wrote in Arabic) more like not-so-subtle far-leftists and islamists apologists propaganda than a "grammar lesson".

  • bubled lol!

  • wow, whut a bunch of fucking retards. so pointless.

  • collect the red hot magma~

  • dewd, jezus crated thee warld,

    den hee mast bei voolkeno

  • mike: If I want to speak in French with my fellow Quebecers here, it's my RIGHT and THEIRS. Someone here commented in SPANISH, no one said a word. Whether I choose to speak in French, Hebrew, Yiddish, Arabic, Italian, German, Russian, etc, is NONE of YOUR business. Do you think the 57 years old woman I am will allow herself to be bossed around by a 21 years old guy? Besides, set the example by writing proper English yourself before daring to demand from others to use that language, capice!

  • am i going to read through every fuckng comment of a video that isnt mine. no i also can voice my oppinion too. i think a woman of your noble ae would know that

  • mikerules999:

    1. i don't know if you heard, but the internet is not english...it's global. just because you clicked on "english" on top of the site doesn't mean everyone else does...

    2. if you were as intelligent as you like to think, you would know that there is no point in "attacking" god like that. there is no real dispute between scientists (real ones, not "youtube" ones) and religion. science deals with "how things happened" and religion with "who made it all happen".

  • and science deals on showing how existance does not requie a creator. nature is an unmanned machine nobody controls it . yes there is a dispute between science and religion if there isnt then why would there be scientists trying to disprove god by studying quantum mechanics and and all of the laws of physics. i think i see he unintelligent christian here and it sure aint me

  • dude...seriously...go back to school. read a fucking book and talk to some real physics professors. science doesn't try to disprove god. it simply DOESN'T CARE! what they do disprove, are claims that everything happened as written in religious texts. these texts are symbolic, that's all. by the way, i'm not a christian. i'm not anything in fact. i am just a homo sapiens, intelligent enough not to mix science and religion together because they have nothing to do with each other.

  • to all of you bitching about religion/god, if you knew anything about REAL physics and weren't just getting ass hurt because someone mentioned god you would realize that a lot of physicists have discovered things that have shaken their unwavering skepticism, atomic particles that move with a force that none can explain (among other things). quantum mechanics has been studied for years with higher and higher technology but no one has been able to prove or disprove the role of god in these forces

  • also i'm not someone who is just trying to force god onto you, i'm simply stating facts and am tired of people not getting them right and then getting ass hurt and whining to everyone and bitching at Christians, get over it.

  • Stop bitching mrlizard8, theres no reason to believe that god exists, and theres no reason to believe that god doesn't exist. You even said it yourself.

Nobody is bitching at Christians, everybody is bitching at every religion. We are not forcing anything on anyone just like you, we are stating facts. This is science. Science wasn't made to disprove god.

  • thanks mrlizard8! that's exactly my point. there are things that are definitely disproved by science, like all the bullshit creationists say, but when a normal intelligent human being reaches a point where he has no information in order to explain something, a god might always pop up. Einstein and Hawking have both mentioned god at some point. because unlike some ignorant people here, they've actually studied the creation of the universe.

  • fixxxer113 : thank you and bravo for your comment. Indeed, one can be a person of science AND a believer. But you can NOT mix the two, like religion and politics do NOT mix. It's only natural that science has its limits, for who are scientists, if not themselves finite human beings? In a nutshell, those who think the existence of a deity can be proved or disproved through science are sadly mistaking. Thank you for your comment, and have a great day! :)

  • There is no sense in trying to "disprove the role" of any god in scientific process, and no, physicists are not losing their skepticism of religion or gods just because they can't explain these things very well yet.

To insist such a thing means you don't actually KNOW any real scientists or how the sciences are studied. It isn't about "answer it now or god did it." Its about gaining knowledge, even in cutting edge fields, without making ridiculous supersticious assumptions.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, not only do you not know any physicists or have you actually studied anything about it, you are just another member of the stereotypes on this vid, although I will give you credit for not bitching at any Christians from what I've seen. And I find it somewhat confusing that you got the idea that my post said that science was about proving or disproving God, I simply said that peoples views have been challenged by things that they cannot explain.

  • Your reply not only makes many PERSONAL assumptions about me, its proof you've got no better response against my POINTS than to try and make personal smears.

Also, if you can't type what you *mean,* don't whine when people respond to what you actually *said.* You did not say "challenged."

  • Your reply made many personal assumptions about me aswell, so you have no business getting upset about that. And you tried to smear me also, another thing you can't get upset about. And why do people on here who think that they are intelligent feel the need to nitpick details, yes it wasn't a perfect quote, but I didn't fell like going back and rereading my post. Either way my meaning was quite clear if you would just read it instead of looking for things to complain about.

  • mrlizard8 : as a believer myself, I have to counter what you just said. There are indeed things that science can not explain as yet, and maybe will never be able to. But that, in and by itself, does NOT prove nor disprove the existence of a deity. It's just that scientists themselves are limited, finite human beings, that's all. The role of science is NOT, NEVER was and NEVER will be to prove or disprove the existence of some superior being. That is WHERE you are erring, sir.

  • hmm....dharamsala55, can you tell me exactly when I said that the existence of forces we cannot explain definitively proved or disproved God's existence? I highly doubt it as I never said that, I said that scientists who were once skeptics were now beginning to change their views. Besides my point (as I also stated in my previous post) was not to prove that god existed or to force it upon anyone, it simply pisses me off when people start crying when someone mentions God on a science vid.

  • mrlizard8 : then I offer you my most heartfelt apologies if I misconstrued what you said. I therefore take back what I wrote. Again, please believe I'm really deeply sorry for this misunderstanding. :(

  • No problem, I'm glad that you're rational about this, (you're one of the few I've seen on youtube I can say that about), have a nice day :)

  • Studying quantum mechanics and physics and other such scientific studies are not about disproving anything, they are about GAINING knowledge, and putting it to good use for manking.

You may take the process personally as an attempt to "disprove" your preferred god, but that would be an incorrect personal assumption.

The pursuit of knowledge is of prime importance to mankinds future and survival. It simply is what it is, and its not personal or has anything to do with mythologies.

  • if only everyone thought that

  • DeadlyChinchilla : I could not have possibly said it better. Thank you for setting the record straight in a most courteous, intelligent and articulate manner. Your comment is indeed a much-needed breath of fresh air! Again, thank you so very much for your input. :)

  • Comment removed

  • Gravity, inertia,..those are laws...Who wrote those laws.

  • scientists, famous scientists

  • lol at people who believe that this is a useless discovery...

Go read some books about History and you will understand that science helped us to live well and to understand the entire world.

You are merely forgetting that the thousand years we were "strong", in fact, we were weak, died from a lot of diseases we could not heal and we were significantly ignorants.

  • the reason people have been living strong is because of said random discoveries, unless you would like to go back to dieing at age 40 because of bad teeth :D

  • I wish everybody had your train of thinking. "Hey, let's not figure out anything new! Who cares about finding out where our species came from, let's just stay in the dark!"

  • Very well said indeed, SOvereignty! :)

  • LOL purger101! :D

  • Just Jump in you pussy!!!

  • Why didn't they ask a hawaiian geologists how to collect. Those guys brush their teeth with magma. This video was worthless. They didn't give any info on research results. They just showed how some researchers don't know what they are doing.

  • "Formed the world millions of years ago..."

Eh, no that would be BILLIONS.

  • fail

  • Why can't they strung a rope across and pulley system in the middle that can be move back and forth a lower it from there?

  • it would still melt as soon as it touches the magma

  • Of course the rope connect to a steel chain at the end or a piece of ceramic. R U that stupid?

  • fuck off, I don't need to prove my intellect to you, you asked a question I gave you an answer but no you had to try and make me look like an idiot

  • Sorry, I shouldn't have said it. I'm not a mean person.

  • you can be a believer in creationism and also evolution who's to say you can't? Simply because you say so?

  • Well most people generally have a reason to say something and don't purely rely on "because I said so" - well, most normal people.

Whoever said creationism and evolution is incompatible is right because creationism relies on life's creation being known from a story of creation (like adam & eve) whereas evolution relies on evidence, analysis and so on and usually always (surprise surprise) nothing like creation stories.

  • creation stories in the bible are not literal. its not possible to completely flood the entire planet ans stick every animal on a boat genius

  • I don't want to presume your ignorance on the subject but infact there are a substantial amount of people (a few friends of mine included) who really believe in Noah's Ark and whatnot. There are even people who try to back this up with "science" though it's skewed horribly of course.

When people say "creationism" they don't mean "God created the universe/100,000,000 stars & earth" but also "God did all that and everything it says in this 2,000 yr old book"

  • well im christian and ive been taught that the stories are figurative and even if i didnt flooding the entire planets would still not make any sense in my mind anyways

  • tennisrules621 : you are indeed absolutely right. The authors of the Bible were NOT historians as we understand it today. We also have to remember that the Bible was first an ORAL tradition that was, throughout many centuries, written down by a plethora of authors. As for this famous story about the flood, we find the SAME in the "Epic of Gilgamesh", probably referring to some devastating floods that occured way before its writing (circa 2000 BC) in the Tigris-Euphrates area. :)

  • Margarita...

Thats a bad ass last name.

  • It's a tasty name!

  • that lava hole scares me! whoa.

  • lol.. imagine that shit when theres magma in that ass??? @_@

  • This is the site of a new ocean forming if I am not mistaken. The arms of the triple junction spread and when it fails forms what we geologist call an aulacogen. Everything in that rift region will be spread out. Plate tectonics are always rifting and the earth is always changing. One thing is for certain, that area will be a volcanically active spot for Millenia to come.

  • Hellholes kick ass, you crusty bitches.

  • Hellish world of the Netherealm

  • xxslaytanixx : Except that we're not talking about RPGs in general and Neverwinter Nights in particular here! :P

  • The ad video at the beginning of this video is aweful.

  • I came here expecting a whole "omfg it has creation in teh title it must be gods werkz," and instead I see that what must be a ten year old child posing as a 57 year old is trying to abuse an intelligent female criminologist? Its definitely an improvement!

  • Morhek : would you care to elaborate?

  • wow i soo wouldnt want to do that. scientists = giant set of balls.
