yes it was a good question, which are they? i think these are all squirrels! one adult, and 3 cubs, the marking are different on chipmunks and full grown chipmunks are smaller then these squirrel cubs.also squirrel and chipmunks rarely hang around together,at least it all the times i've seen them. it looks like you got lucky and got a squirrel family, probably mom with her kids, learning fast how to pan handle and tug at your heart! they get to be very loveable!!
