Thanks for the tips! The phrasing and general expression I use doesn't work well with a slower tempo. My editions indicate moderato or allegretto, and I probably lean towards the faster, but I like it that way anyway. The top note of the chord isn't actually staccato, but it is slightly accented and released quickly to help contrast with how I sustain all the notes in the chord the second time around. It's easier to hear this live than with my camera's built-in mic.
You're so talented! But I do agree with the others to slow it down. Unless that's what you love ... and then go with it!

It is fast but expressive. I played it a little slower and with different dynamic. It is art. OK. Everyone has it's own style.

First of all, SLOW DOWN! Secondly, if you choose to refrain from the use of pedal (which is just fine!), also refrain from the use of staccato ;)
