hey, very nice vid. i have an problem, coz i recently bought the same camera (lumix dmc tz7) and the quality of my vids is not as good as in ur video. may be u do have some ideas for reason of this bad situation..

Great vid. I'm thinking of buying a DMC ZS3 and wonder about compatibility with imovie 08 and AVCHD. Did you have any problems with imovie '09 and AVCHD lite? Are you able to lay down a music bed WITHOUT video in imovie 09 or do you have to do the visual first and then add music? Your reply is very much appreciated. Thanks.
Thank you. I had no issues with iMovie 09 and the Lumix. Well, I have first edited the Movie and then added music - but, since I am not an iMovie Expert I don#T no if there is another way. Maybe someone else knos about this ...

nice vid .. good clarity .. I also used Panasonic Lumux ZS3 (apparently same as TZ7).. but for some reason my videos so far don't seem as razor sharp as yours .. I also used ZS3 in AVCHD SH mode and used IMovie 09 .. any pointers on how to get the best out of this combination ?
Thanks for the response. Much appreciated. Recently I was able to upload 1024*720 using the same flow (wonder what I did wrong last time around). Still need to take more test movies ..have you done any motion JPEG HD vs avchd lite comparisions so far ? (in terms of picture quality ?).
Maybe your camera is a lemon. I also have the ZS3 but the quality isn't as sharp as I thought it would be. Also, my indoor photos look a bit grainy. Check out my video if you want to compare the quality of my vid.

Just imported it (AVCHD Lite) into iMovie on my Mac and uploaded to youtube as a HD movie using the buildIn function in iMovie.

not really, I just used the iA (intelligent Automatic) Programm and like you the avchd SH mode.
No special settings or properties.
