These girls go to my school and I have the pleasure of knowing a few of them. They are people just like we are and if anything they are better people then most of us will ever be. @NicoleandCarlie I hear you on that I wish these trolls would just get a life since I know what its like to be part of the special needs community myself. These girls no matter what they have deserve to cheer. In fact there are all-star teams that form special needs teams too. I seen this commercial on TV and learned about this team on Oprah. I mean I seen people with Downs Syndrome do brilliant things like swimming.

Living in the Quad City area I can tell you personally what a great thing this is. These girls have turned into "rockstars" over the last year for just being themselves. I know their family and classmates are proud of their accomplishments. So the only "fucked up" thing about this is the people who have negative things to say. Kudos to PV and running with the idea. You made me proud when I first saw the commercial on TV tonight. Keep up the good work and don't even read the negativity!

@ProjectILT You know what, some of the football players at our school (PV) have sympathy for these girls. They like having them cheer for them because it gives our school something to be proud of. They are like little kids pretty much. So are you saying that a little girls dance team shouldnt dance at a football game because they aren't hot? Some of the sparkles are actually VERY pretty, and if not on thier outside, their inside beauty shows it all. And they are actually very good Cheerleaders.
