@thaboss32 i dont think theres any logical explanation as to why the floor panel would rip out like that, unless it was being held in place by tape and there was a hole near the front that let air in over the top of it and pushed it down. just an overlooked event in the script to add some drama or intensity to the race. which they probably could have had his hood fly off instead.

Also when he saves diesel after the cops show up , diesel would have had to ride flinstone style.

True and true. But you might have the ratio, and not the power to get the speed at that certain gear ratio.

If you don't have the power to overcome the air resistance, or if you want to get more torque for acceleration in lower gears, that's where nitrous comes into play.
