  • @plateshutoverlock Yes until 1988 1 year later. Columbia House in 1988 had an advertisement in several magazines offering their music in 8 Track Cassette LP or CD by late 1988 the choices then where LP Cassette or CD, until 1990 with just Cassette or CD.

  • Cruisin' songs in 8 Track or Cassete Tapes! That was back in 1987! Still very good memories!

  • I remember the Life Magazine TV commercial with Ray Charles' "America, The Beautiful". i saw this since I was a kid. I remember the 5-LP "Cruisin'" album, but it's still show up on numerous flea markets and on eBay.
