The treaty of Versailles was unfair for the German people, no suprise that Hitler broke it. I can also understand why the germans wanted back their territory who was stolen from them and given to poland in the versailles treaty. Also Saarland was taken from them.

Instead they declared war for "protecting the freedom of Poland", wich really wasnt the case when they later let Poland be taken over by the communists. It was the western allies who started world war two, not Hitler. Many lives could have been spared, if they didnt declare war. The war on the eastern front would of course have happened anyway.

At the end of the war(1944-VE day) we fought in France Belgium etc. We were stretched beyond limits as we were not only supplying ourselves but also Russia and many other countries. America wasn't alone in the pacific as us the Chinese and others were there. The airforces were balanced in tech in 1939 and 1940 but the tactics stuffy used were top notch,

The treaty of Versailles was unfair for the German people, no suprise that Hitler broke it. I can also understand why the germans wanted back their territory who was stolen from them and given to poland in the versailles treaty. Also Saarland was taken from them.

@nickdeth24 There wouldnt have been any western front if Britain and France have stayed neutral. Instead they declared war for "protecting the freedom of Poland", wich really wasnt the case when they later let Poland be taken over by the communists. It was the western allies who started world war two, not Hitler. Many lives could have been spared, if they didnt declare war. The war on the eastern front would of course have happened anyway.

FFS!!!! Right Britain was fighting at the start of the war on approximately 5 fronts- France, Greece, Burma and Singapore etc, Africa and BoB. At the end of the war(1944-VE day) we fought in France Belgium etc. We were stretched beyond limits as we were not only supplying ourselves but also Russia and many other countries. America wasn't alone in the pacific as us the Chinese and others were there. The airforces were balanced in tech in 1939 and 1940 but the tactics stuffy used were top notch,

They have lots of incredible technology to use in combat situations, but name one major conflict that they single-handedly engaged and won. Bailing is not the same as winning. @CooneyTheBeagle FDR promised peace for the USA so they didn't enter the war until they were attacked. They couldn't have done a thing about Pearl Harbor, it was constant kamikazes in the morning when everyone was waking up. Americans couldn't trust any Vietnamese as ANYBODY could attack them except their comrades.

@chozo36 ..nope...At that time there were many american-Germans in the American government who used their power to keep them out of it..likewise though...the american jews in the government knew what was happening in Poland and Germany..never lifted a finger to help....in Vietnam they coudlnt win because of the terrain..jungles mountains..the vietnamese used guerilla tactics to win...the americans with all their hardware couldnt defeat them..
So the Asian man can usually defeat the American :)
