Personally this sounds more like Karnivool than Tool. But I am noticing a trend... if you're going to be a cool progressive rock band you have to have two 'o's in the name of your band. Tool is my favorite band by far and I see no problem with a slight encroachment of styles. Enjoy the music people. Stuff even this good is rare.

if u listen to both tool and rishloo, u will hear that Tool's chord progressions are darker and phonically deeper also the tempo in general is usually slurred in their songs, whereas rishloo's music has a faster pace that moves rapidly through a variety of jumbled and extravagant riffs, Its these little differences that individualize both bands. dont be a hater of new music that strives to rise above other music that replicates itself for the masses, much in the same way tool has done so.

It may not be 'as good' as Danny Carey's style, but it's still very advanced drumming, with more subtlety.

Rishloo is an awesome band. They are very gifted songwriters. However, they need to consider hiring an experienced engineer for their next album. This album and Feathergun sound like they were recorded in a garage. The drums are too far in the background, the vocals lack polish, and their is just muddyness going on in the middle. That being said, the fact that I still can't get enough is a testament to how awesome their music is. A little polish and it could be phenomenal.

I've heard every Tool song front to back at least 20 times, seen them in concert 7 times, seen all of their music videos countless times, Own ALL their CD's and DVD's, have like 15 different things signed by the band members.
