Beautiful hyms, I just sang it this evening. And btw, it's not "following tear", it's "falling tear".
But regardless, this is beautiful whether it vocal or instrumental.

it was originally written for bassoon and oboe and transcribed for band in which it was changed to euphonium and cornet
