Actually, the British, who brought slavery to America, were trading rum for slaves not weapons. Sugar cane raised in the colonies was distilled into rum and the rum traded to black slave traders in Africa for slaves. It was known as "the trade triangle". You seem to miss the point that it was blacks who were capturing other blacks and selling them to European and Muslim slavers. Muslims were the biggest slavers, yet blacks in the USA flock to Islam. It shows how schools have failed to educate.
