I know this is an old clip, but i have just come across it now. I was wondering how the saliva dna test - band pattern - was done - or if there is any online resources showing how to conduct this experiment. Also if there is any online resources/tutorial on how to do the fibre test with the laser pointer? Both of these experiments rock - and would love to learn how to do it. Cheers.

@skydognz They use a dye i think, we did this at school but not with syliva....i think they run it under a microscope aswell...i'm not sure to be honet :/ but the dye is a possiblility

@matheus11397 u can just use colored powder or charcoal dust or make your own using black food coloring and powder......u can add a few drops in the powder but colored baby powder or something
