You could also try Randy Newman, Brett Dennon, Jason Mraz, Paul Simon, I tunes recommended these guys (the weepies) when I was purchasing music from mark heard. All of the above artists sing of alienation and angst in the midst of passionate hopeful love and openness of mind. You could also try the violent femmes more mellow tracks, also terry scott taylor.

1) People close to you still probably know about 75% of you anyway, so don't lose your shit over 25%.

2) The 25% that they don't know probably isn't worth knowing, and most likely a bunch of self-indulgent idiosyncrasies.

3) If they don't know you, it's your own fault for not opening up more.
