These are snapper Bluefish. They are small bluefish. There are also chopper Bluefish who are much bigger. Same fish different size. People use snapper and chopper to be more specific on what size Bluefish they are talking about. For example. Chopper Bluefish migrate from place to place all year long and snapper Bluefish usally stay where they are and do not migrate.

@BugMoneyFishing oh im from conencticut. and right now there are tons of snappers 5-10 inches. they are fun to catch on a small trout pole with a kast master they still fight very nice haha they do lots of jumps and headshakes.. and then ull occasionally hook on to a nice harbor blue 15-20 inches.. and with a trout pole. 10 lb braid.. ur drag is just screaming haha its funn
