@wdharvey1- this is a very real possibility that I have since considered. This was the first "hunt" I've done and I've gotten more particular about possible outside contamination! I've been back to the Sorrel-Weed numerous times and have gotten nothing. Either the spirits don't want to commune ore I've gotten better at discerning fact from fiction! Thanks fot the post!
Perhaps the scream you heard was from the street, which is no more than 20 feet from any wall in that building. I've been in that house, BEFORE it became "haunted" (quite suddenly, it became haunted...it sat for years and all of a sudden it's haunted...WOW)...
@1epicperson- The oddest pics are the ones with the black shadows- I did everything I could to reproduce them but I haven't been able to. I've done a few other ghost hunts and have never photographed anything like it since.
@ciapalajm well i did the same thing in the green room and failed at trying to get other ones. Now the most phenonimal thing was that when The Ghost Hunters came and they caught the 3 orbs in the row i have that same picture like that and it looks like a body in it. So me and my mom r gonna send some to Ghost Hunters and see if this is real Ghost trying to communate with me
i went on the ghost tour in savannah,Ga but i had one of the most creppiest first hand accounter with matilda. I was listening to the tour guide and i happened to hear her voice; but i couldnt make out what she was saying. I looked behind me and i saw nothing but my mom tooked pictures and right where matilda fell to her death a white mist was in the picture...Let's just say i wanted to stay and get more evps and pictures. :)
I visited the Sorrell-Weed House on Nov. 15, 2009 for a house tour. I was a little behind the group & was taking pics. I put the camera up to my face to photograph a couch and when I looked thru the lens I saw a black mist go across the room & disappear. I tried to take a pic, but my flash was on and it was too late. I came home, freaked out, and saw your video! That is the very same mist/shadow I saw!! I also have a picture that appears to have an antebellum dressed woman in it. Crazy Stuff!
I would love to see it. I've tried to debunk them on my own but I have not been able to. The shadow over Lee- thought it may have been a shadow cast from the chandelier but I haven't been able to duplicate it on subsequent visits. The one in the rafters-thought it may be my finger over the flash but I haven't been able to reproduce the effect by covering the flash or lense. Can't wait to see yours!
The EVPs are interesting. But the one that says Get out of my way has a very, very flat northern or midwestern accent--not sure how that fits in. The come back here please voice has a Caribbean or African accent and sounds like a black male, older perhaps. Orbs are just dust or moisture. The shadows, the face...not too compelling, but the EVPs are quite amazing.

I really think the face is a brick or something because I did photo the same thing on a subsequent visit. I have yet to reproduce the shadows. I've tried taking pictures with the flash covered but can't get the same effect. I thought the shadow over the portrait may have been from the chandelier but I have't been able to duplicate it on my last 2 visits. I
The orbs are interesting only because they appear with the shadow which makes the shadows more meaningful in my perspective. The light on the wall could be from someone elses flash so that one isn't as exciting either. Such Fun!!
