The tone is awesome!!! But if you listen very, very closely to the original, it sounds to me like he is using a flanger in the first solo. It's extremely subtle though. Almost unnoticeable.

This is Jamie Humphries. He plays the solo to Set the Controls to the Heart of the Sun with the Australian Pink Floyd Show on the Royal Albert Hall Concert DVD. One of the best guitar performances I've ever heard. Saw him live with them as well. He nailed the Dogs solo. This is a lesson, not a performance. Trust me, this guy can play.

Keep in mind, this is a lesson not a performance. It is not intended to present the lead with the emotional impact of a performance. It is just the riffs played in sequence at normal speed so students can see it done. These lessons are excellent for anyone interested in learning Gilmour material.

@alexelperron No, Dogs is tuned down a full step. Should be DGCFAD for dogs.
