I've never understood is 20 to 100+ page papers.

Exhausting the topic seems too tired itself, and would welcome a lot of BS or repeated information and fluff.

If I was a professor, I'd rather have my students write a very concise and well thought out 5 to 10 page research paper (20 pages at the most), rather than a 50 page paper they just used whatever information they could find, and use lots of filler fluff; it would also help them to create lots of data in a small space, efficiency.

I think the hardest part of the research paper is coming up with a thesis statement. once you have that, everything kinda just falls into place.
