I agree with the two of you. @lucretius1 Your voice is too soft, and the "background" music accompaniment is overwhelming. Maybe if you got rid of the music, and simplified your lecture to layman's terms it would be easier to follow. I stopped listening at 3 minutes.
Whoever you are..I think that way exactly. And I wonder "what if" whatever started everything had not existed or who knows...life and is simply amazing ain't it? Of course, I believe God created life..but the questions are still there..will we ever know what created everything....
How could anything ever come into existence to begin with is the hardest question. So an explosion created the universe..but what created the explosion? What created the thing that created the explosion? and what created the thing that created the thing that created the explosion?? :|.... Its like were not really here..Impossible to create something with absolutely nothing there...The only possible explanation could be that the universe was ALWAYS here never created. Prove me wrong??
@MsSparkles18 Its much easier to believe that, but science isn't easy. If every man thought that way since we evolved into supreme beings, none of what you see around you will be there. No big bang theory, no evolution theory, no nothing. So yes, its easier to believe we were created by some man in the sky, but its harder to deduct what actually happened to the universe. You continue believing in your fairy tail.
The Big Bang is just what we call the first moment. There may be many Big Bangs, Quantum Fluctuations in areas of low Dark Energy that create pockets, one of which is our universe that either expands forever or ends in a Big Crunch.
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
@klondon18 theistic or atheistic it doesn't matter. Being an atheist is just as bad as being a theist because you'll now try to defy religions at all cost even if some points are true. The most important thing is to be neutral at all grounds without making any choices and preferances.
@giriisindahouse To assume though that all atheists defy religion is generalizing. I'm Agnostic Atheist and I still think that the bible/most religions in general have a somewhat excellent set of morals to live ones lives by. I think that the problem is that there are those few.....okay....few is the wrong word...... there are those ignorant people out there who think that they have to push what they feel down other peoples throat and think that everyone else is idiotic or "bad people".
@giriisindahouse You can't be neutral on all grounds religions have killed people for not believing it or having another religion. You need to investigate to see what is true and throw out the BS. When they make BS prophecies that are general nonsense and some happen to come true they say see our religion is true, but then they ignore all the prophcies the didn't and also ignore the prophecies and statements that contradict each other.
GOD EXPANDING VOICE SPOKE THE EXPANDING UNIVERSE INTO EXISTANCE > JESUS IS GOD AND REPENT AND BE SAVED!!! DON"T MISS HEAVEN BECAUSE OF REPENTANCE! PRAY TO JESUS~
natural laws don't control God. God is same yesterday, today, and forever! meaning he lives throughout time everyday. God is beyond humanity.
@ASSBA000 Currently, science does not have an answer outside of speculation. It's currently being worked on, much like the origin of life. Abiogenesis is the current hypothesis for life but does not have a working model as of yet.
Its seems you are very confused person? John, saw a vision and it was real and it was not some kind of dreams nor fantasy. He was actually, seeing the future and the Revelation of God, himself."
@jegjegod Seeing a vision can be explained by hallucinations study psychology, Paul going temporarily blind and seeing what he thought was Jesus can be explained by a hallucination caused by a seizure that effects part of the brain. Superstitous thought seizures were caused by demons, now people study neurology to explain it. They thought people with multiple personalities had multiple demons now they can explain this with psychology. So Science is replacing the BS.
@hydrolito Obviously, not the "Spirit of God" is in you...Yes, but the "spirit of the devil" is all in delusion and there's no truth in them. Many, people today do practice wiggie board, witchcraft, etc...are all spirit of the devils and they are all lies. Every words in the Bible came from the mouth of God and they have all come to past. Therefore, it's not hallucination nor delusions...
@hydrolito Even Scientists agree that what we cannot see does not mean it necessarily does not exist. I'm not a creationist, neither am I a fundamentalist. Just someone that believes neither side can fully explain everything that has happened over time. Maybe one day mankind will know the truth, whatever it may be, or maybe we won't before the sun expands and kills all life on the planet. To be honest arguing over this is kinda pointless (though it is kinda fun to argue, I guess that's a point).
@hydrolito I'm agnostic (which basically means I don't know what to believe). I believe however that someday Science and Religion will go hand in hand. Science will become a religion. And religion will use science. To call something you don't believe in BS (especially when there is no evidence to prove or disprove it's validity) is very "unscientific". You therefore contradicted yourself without even realizing it.
@rougewyng If it was a dream - What, a big imagination and it so rightly fit to our generation. Is, that, a coincedence? We know, that is not true... We know, that can only, come from an intelligent being, who knows the beginning and the ending."
@jegjegod So some things happen and he happens to be right on some and not others big deal, H.G. Wells foretold Tanks, aireal warfare and the atomic bomb, Jules Verne foretold exploring the deep ocean and landing on the moon. So then did God give them these visions? Of course not.
@rougewyng Yes,The scientific method is commonly described as a four-step process involving observations, hypothesis, experiments and conclusion. Intelligent design begins with the observation that intelligent agents produce complex and specified information(CSI).Design theorists hypothesize that if a natural object was designed, it will contain high levels of CSI.Scientists then perform experimental tests upon natural objects to determine if they contain complex and specified information...
@rougewyng [CONTINUE]>>>"One easily testable form of CSI is irreducible complexity, which can be discovered by experimentally reverse-engineering biological structures to see if they require all of their parts to function. When ID researchers find irreducible complexity in biology, they conclude that such structures were designed."
"The theory of intelligent design is simply an effort to empirically detect whether the "apparent design" in nature acknowledged by virtually all biologists is genuine design [the product of an intelligent cause] or is simply the product of an undirected process such as natural selection acting on random variations. Creationism, typically starts with a religious text and tries to see how the findings of science can be reconciled to it."
Yes, we do know, what happened from the beginning..."
@rougewyng In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And, the earth was [without form], and [void]; and [darkness]was upon the face of the deep. And, the "Spirit of God" moved upon the face of the waters. And, God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:1-3."
Here God says from the beginning, the universe was nothing and it was void and God spirit moved. When, God spirit moved in space, there was huge colossal big explotion and created the Big-Bang"
"Remember God doesn't live in time nor in space. God is pure energy and it's so powerful and when He's spirit moved it creates a big colossal explosion. God is a pure powerful forces and when He speaks, it creates and ephic blast to unbelievable cosmic power and it unreveal and lerks like an explosions of stars in the universe." And, it creates an apocolypthic astroids impact and creates an invisible jet radiation streaming across the universe."
"God created the "Big-Bang." In singularity, God spoked and "He says; "Let there be light and there was light." Our peanut brain, cann't comprehened the creation of God."
Isaiah 55:88-9."
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
@rougewyng It is, GOD the Creator, who says it....So, shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void. But, it shall accomplish, that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11."
What I'd like to know is This Big Bang theory is an explosion, now explosions go off in all directions circular, now the diagrams you see depicting where we are now and looking back are usually like a tunnel going back the 30 odd billions years or more since the Big Bang, like the one on your clip @1:08 now surely this explosion expelled galaxies etc on the other side of your diagram, other side of the Big Bang, going totally in an opposite direction to us, the other way as it were. ??
@phillintheuk1 First, it's "13-odd billion years", not 30.
Second, that "tunnel" represents our view from Earth, as light takes time to travel to Earth, we see the oldest light, from near the beginning of the universe, as being far back and behind everything else. That colourful, mostly-blue layer you see just after the big bang is the cosmic microwave background, everything between that and the open end of the tunnel diagram is stars, galaxies, and whatever else happened between then and now.
Well First yeah dunno where i got 30 billion years, LOL .. I was only 17 billion odd years out, give or take a coupla decades and weeks and nano seconds...thank you for you detailed description of what was going on in the tunnel view of diagram..but i knew all that already, that is not what i asked. My Q was The Big Bang would of expelled galaxies not in just one direction like that diagram but all around, ie: also in the opposite direction of the way we are heading..surely ?
I'm christian and I do believe that the possibility of a big bang is possible but in my own opinion, the big bang must had come from something and I believe in is God. I also see that also with the belief in God, it gives more depth to science and more knowledge. Even Richard Dawkins believes that the big bang has a designer but he admits that he has no clue on who did it. But I look at possibilities and I'm open to listen to anyone.
I like conversing about science, even though I am not a scientist. I use understanding of evolution, physics, and the big bang as a litmus test for whether or not you're going to annoy me if we ever have one of "those" conversations. Dumb people can be amusing, in short drunken bursts, but if you keep them around long enough you realize they actually think they are hyper-intellectual and have all the facts and answers, despite having never actually asked any questions or studied any factsheets.
@ericleb01 Because at the very beginning of the world Adam and Eve committed the first sin. Thus the world had sin from there on. Adam and Eve were clean and free of sin until they sinned against God's orders.
@gentlemen59 But you have absolutely no proof of that. This theory -- and every other concept in science -- is backed up by experimental, observable, and reproducible evidence. For the Big Bang Theory, the best modern proof is the data collected by WMAP (Google it), which proves that the universe was once much more condensed and has since expanded over billions of years. It also verified predictions covering the timeline of the universe, something that fits with the current model.
@gentlemen59 And before you reply with Bible quotations, please remind yourself that the Bible's accuracy cannot be verified due to the fact that it IS its only source; therefore quoting the Bible serves no purpose in this debate.
@ericleb01 Sorry I never knew there was people who think the bible is not accurate. It was written by prophets and many other once living people. I feel sorry for people like you, I honestly do, because I would rather live my life for the Kingdom of God and become apart of it when I die... Then to live like there is no heaven and find out there is.
@gentlemen59 My friend and I wrote the "Book of the Pink Unicorn" last summer. It entails how the invisible pink unicorn is actually the master of the universe and fights the evil so we can make it to heaven. How can you be sure it isn't real?
And for that matter, how can you ignore the 4,000 other religions in the world who also promise salvation and eternal glory? You're doing it completely wrong according to the Ba'hai faith. And according to Greek mythology.
@ericleb01 The bible was written by prophets who were living during the time of Jesus. The old testament was before Jesus was born, and then new testament was after Jesus was born. Jesus was a real man, and the bible recorded most of his life. Chances might be that I am wrong, but the pope's since Paul, have been touched by every pope before him. Starting from Paul who was appointed the first pope. The bible is real, I have no doubt about it. It was written by real people.
@gentlemen59 "The bible is real, I have no doubt about it. It was written by real people."
I have no doubt that the aforementioned "Book of the Pink Unicorn" is real and 100% accurate. How does your version of that argument carry any more weight?
@ericleb01 Because it is a known fact. You think that your smart and witty by putting long words like "aforementioned" like for real, you're writing things but your not really writing things. What your saying doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Your just taking up space by writing junk that makes you look like you have a valid point. You know it, I know it, you have no meat to your paragraphs. I pray to my God, who gives me strength and I could not be happier. I'll pray for your soul.
@gentlemen59 It ISN'T fact; that's what you're missing! Show me proof that it is real! Show me substantiated evidence that what your saying isn't complete BS! You can't!
That's because the only thing that confirms it's validity is itself.
I'm sorry that you're not smart enough (or at least not making an effort) to understand what I'm trying to tell you. Either way, it must be the reason that you continue to delude yourself into thinking that there is a DUDE in the sky with absolutely NO proof.
@ericleb01 i am also an atheist there is no proof whatsoever that there some random and powerful man that made everything it was science that created us
@FlowerPup1 It's not my first discussion either, haha. I've heard every possible argument from the religious and they all falter with simple, rational counter-arguments.
@FlowerPup1 Actually Science is the tool by which we use to discover what is real from what is merely fantasy, Science is the study of everything.... Geology is the science to study rocks, Astronomy is the scientific study of Space, Biology is the scientific study of life, Sociology is the scientific study of peoples interactions with each other, Anthropology is the scientific study of human evolution from the apes to now, etc, etc.....
@gentlemen59 It's clear you have nothing better to say. I'm sure you won't mind if I stop responding. Have fun with your utopian mindset, but don't expect anything to materialise from it.
@ericleb01 I am living my life for Christ. I cannot wait until your judgement day comes and when you finally realize that you were wrong, and you should have changed your ways. I will pray for you. God bless
@gentlemen59 i feel bad for you. you waiste the limited time you have worshipping an illusion.its clear you just close your eyes for enything that disproves your precious vieuws.enjoy youre medieval mindset.we think you prressume
@TheMaximusmacro I don't close my eyes to everything that disproves my God.. In fact I pray for those who do. I am going to live my life like there is a kingdom to get to one day, than to live like yourself, just for today. I cannot wait to see the look on your face when you pass away and you see the light at the end of the tunnel... and its slowly disappearing....
@gentlemen59 aaah the old treath of hell, youchristians arent that nice really.its funny you people always assume where wrong.what if your wrong? and pray for those who do? dont you realize your just talking to yourself?
@TheMaximusmacro No listen, I am going to pray for you, not my next door neighbours, I am going to pray for you who will spend some time in purgatory and then maybe make it to heaven. I am assuming your wrong because without Christ, I have no strength. There is a heaven, and a hell. Vive Christo Rey
@gentlemen59 withour christ you have no strenght? what does that even mean.why do the people who dont believe have strenght also? and do you have 1 pieve of evidence for the existence of heaven or hell instead of the bible? or do story's about talking burning bushes, talking snakes, waterwalkers and a guy feeding a crowd with a fish and an piece of bread sound realistic? + the concept of hell of the bible comes from greek mythology Tartarus where the titans where hold.
@TheMaximusmacro Thats why he is Jesus, and thats why he is remembered today. Without Jesus, we would be filled with sin, and no way to get out of it. He died for us, and thats the truth
@gentlemen59 so the book says we are born with sin and the only way to not be tortured for eternity is to follow what the book says? en the book is right because it says so in the book? thats circular reasoning.come on now how can you possibly believe that? that sounds more like a sect. they give you a false guilttrip and then the guidlines to make up for this false guilt. dont you see the holes in that logic?
@TheMaximusmacro Thats not true. Adam and Eve were the first to commit the first sin. Since then, every human being is born with original sin, but Christ died on the cross to that me MAY have eternal like. He's not telling us to do anything and neither is the bible. God gave us free will to do whatever we wish, but Christ gave us the option of eternal life in heaven and thats what I believe. He gave us the sacrament of reconciliation and we can repent all of our sins.
@gentlemen59 + in your bible it says jesus is god so how did he really sacrefice anything for us? tahts like painting a picture of yourself and burning it and then saying you sacreficed yourself.
@gentlemen59 You have no strength without Jesus as a child has no strength without their baby blanket... that is all it is a security blanket for which you don't need because Jesus is not real, Heaven and Hell and God and Satan are not real, there is no evidence for them, there is no evidence for any of the "historical events" in the Bible, everything in Genesis, all the way up to any "Prophesies" which should have happened in the bronze age but never did... and never will.
@gentlemen59 If God doesn't exist then what? We don't live for today we live for our future and our childrens future not some empty promise/threat of salvation and damnation... the only evidence of such things is in ONE book, not in life, not in science, not in anything real, it's only in ONE book, the Bible, which by the way has been rewritten and mistranslated hundreds of times from it's original language for which it no longer matches.
@gentlemen59 Actually we don't believe in Jesus because he is a plagiarized character stolen and rewritten from previous religions, look into the 16 Crucified Saviors and explain to me how saviors from other religions lived the exact same life as Jesus before Jesus was ever written about, some still worshipped, like Hare Krishna.
@ericleb01 4000 other religions didn't have a real man die on a cross, and get brutally whipped and flogged. 4000 different religions don't have a bible written by real prophets who once lived. 4000 other religions don't have a pope that has been touched by every pope before. 4000 other religions are useless.
@gentlemen59 16 Crucified Saviors, look them up, 16 people who lived before Jesus (or at least were written about before Jesus supposedly existed) that lived the exact same life as Jesus, 16!!!!! Many of which are still believed many of which have had a better track record of having their believers do good that Christianity ever has, many whose believers ALL practice what they preach more so than ANY Christian. When Christianity ruled the world they called it the DARK AGES.... why?
kinda sad how you search "big bang theory" on YT or google and what pops out first is the TV show. i dont find it that funny. and its not that im too old for it or something. im 18 and the jokes are hehe funny but not HAHA funny. yknow?
Amazing stupidy, can we called this science?, a "dot" was the universe-seed, it just expanded, where those forces came from? just they were there, Oh my Goodness, I believe in God for exactly this reason, He is the logical conclusion of why the universe exists, other way to explain without God as Creator, just show our irrationality, we cannot explain the origin of it without taking into account the super-natural. Fools. An explosion is also an expansion, do we know a creative expansion?
@xchris1800 Maybe the expansion of a cell into a person? Whoops, I promised myself I wouldn't feed the trolls. But while I'm here.... "god did it" is just how the uneducated say "I don't understand" Hmmm that didn't feel as good as I thought it would. I just feel sick that I'm wasting my time abusing an unfortunate con victim. I sincerely apologize. Oh by the way, Matthew 5:22
@xchris1800 An insult but no valid argument, but no problem, it is expected OF you. It's that lack of education I mentioned earlier. My apologIES for that. You better get to confession (or whatever) regarding that "fools" comment because jesus never forgets and he will torture you forever because he loves you.
Why are people, I'm sorry... so stupid? I mean a lot of people say this is how earth was created, and the rest of the matter in the universe, but where did the stuff that exploded to make the earth and everything come from? No one ever seems to answer that.. hmm maybe because God created the universe!
@hannavas11 yep he just magicaly apeared, makes perfect sense. At least the big bang theory has some thought behind it.. You cant compare science to religion, its pointless and a waste of time to deal with all you bible thumpers. There is no place for that in our society. :)
@mike41794 Yeah, I only wish you thought differently, here I'll make a deal with you, if you read some of the bible or go to church for at least one day, I'll look more into science, and this theory :)
@hannavas11 i have been going to church most of my life when i was younger because thats what my parents wanted me to do. Though after a while i "opened my eyes" and realized that most of it does not make sense. And im not asking you to look into this theory because it has not been proven. Hence theory. But dont be saying that god created the universe cause thats just an excuse for not having a legitiment answer.
@mike41794 No, you did not "open your eyes" you gave into the Devil. Sure, some things may seem to not make sense, but if you really think about it, they do, and that's also where faith comes into this all. Well, duhh, besides, I don;t want to look into the theory, I just want you to try to look into going to church again, I'm only trying to help you. Lastly, it is NOT an excuse, and it is the truth, you will only regret not believing it later. I'm sorry.
@hannavas11 Haha sorry but i dont belive in the devil either. And if they are true please prove it to me, saying the bible says so is not an asnwer.. lol. Lastly i did not ask for your help and it sure seems like an excuse to me because obviously religion too has no explanation for it, other than saying the magic man created it. And i feel sorry for you because you have been brain washed by a bunch of bible thumpers and bible thumper you are.
@belbers9715 Something cannot be made from nothing. This is proven with the Law of Conservation of Mass and the Law of Conservation of Energy, both stating that neither mass nor energy can ever be actually lost, or destroyed, or created. And these are laws, meaning it is true, always has been, and always will be. So the singularity that the big bang theory started off with had to come from somewhere. And where it came from, I believe to be the only logical explanation, was from a previous....
@belbers9715 universe compressing back into this singularity until it couldn't anymore then re-expanding from the massive amount of energy and mass it had drawn in to such an unfathomably small thing, AKA a singularity, and the universe will continue to contract and expand forever.
@LividLobotomist but where did that universe and singularity come from? It still came from nothing. If there is no creator in the picture, it simply does not make sense. I think it takes greater faith to believe in the big bang than in Christianity. Christianity explains this by God always being there. He was always there since before time existed. According to Atheism or the Big Bang, a universe existed before ours. Okay. How did it get there? How could matter exist in the first place?
@belbers9715 there was another universe before that universe. It's an infinite loop is what I was trying to say. It's confusing right now and we don't understand somethings right now, but to introduce a creator, you'd have to introduce an infinite loops of creators. If there a god, where did he come from, what made this creator? And what made that creator? My reason makes sense because we have some evidence that, the big bag theory, actually happened whereas people can only believe in god.
@LividLobotomist There wouldn't have to be an infinite loop of "gods". If one creator existed since before time had even began and created everything, then it would just be him. The only problem I have with your statement is that scientists don't really have any hard evidence. Your evidence isn't really evidence. You still have to believe in the big bang just as much as I have to believe in God.
@belbers9715 Sure there would. If you want to argue that there had to be something before us, then there had to be something before that. Like you said, there can't be nothing before something unless something created it. And if God was there before we were here, then where did he come from? He couldn't have always been there, right? Much like your argument with matter. So what created him? Another creator? An even bigger God? And scientist have evidence of here being a "birth" of the universe.
@LividLobotomist I was simply saying that there is no possible way for either of us to be proven wrong indefinitely. It is philosophically impossible. We simply do not know. I said that your evidence really isn't evidence. This is true. It is not evidence at all. Just like I have no evidence.
@belbers9715 And I'm saying we have similar argument as to how the universe was created aside from one major thing. Your creator is God, our creator is an outward expansion of energy and, well, you know the story, and this just makes more sense to me for some reason.
@LividLobotomist Yes, I agree. Our views are for the most part similar aside from the major reason of God. I think it is pointless when Atheists and Christians go at each other when they can't possibly prove one another wrong. All it accomplishes is making both Christians and Atheists look dumb.
Scientists are kind of pissed that they weren't around when the Big Bang happened. Here we had an event that holds all of the secrets to reality, and we missed it because we were lazy enough not to evolve for another 13 billion years.
To believe in the big bang and then evolution requires a belief structure way beyond believing in a creator you are the ones who believe in the miraculous and i am envious
The bible has been proven as fact in every aspect except the futuristic predictions which are at least of the same intellect. Most of your scientific garble is just that and not really theories. Theories only in the mind of the dreamer!
@paulclark007 u know what i suppose religion is to give hope to people who cant find it, and i can respect that and dont think it dumb, but i think people who call scientist and non believers unintelligent, are the real morons, lol gods about as real as a bigfoot everyone believes in it but it doesnt exist, if u have a belief keep it to urself would ya, thats why i hate religion u guys push shit on people who dont care and already know its fake and corrupted
Okay anybody who thinks that intelligence was the result of anything but a God creating it really is stupid and is lacking in any real intelligence and excels only in foolishness such as this farcical nonsense! Dream on, you are quite gifted at it!
You cant start a theory with a big question mark. The smartest person in the world says the big bang is bull crap! Type "smartest woman in the world explains the big bang" into your search bar.

I think that the problem is that there are those few.....okay....few is the wrong word...... there are those ignorant people out there who think that they have to push what they feel down other peoples throat and think that everyone else is idiotic or "bad people".
klondon18 3 months ago
@giriisindahouse You can't be neutral on all grounds religions have killed people for not believing it or having another religion. You need to investigate to see what is true and throw out the BS. When they make BS prophecies that are general nonsense and some happen to come true they say see our religion is true, but then they ignore all the prophcies the didn't and also ignore the prophecies and statements that contradict each other.

He was actually, seeing the future and the Revelation of God, himself."
jegjegod 6 months ago
@jegjegod Seeing a vision can be explained by hallucinations study psychology, Paul going temporarily blind and seeing what he thought was Jesus can be explained by a hallucination caused by a seizure that effects part of the brain. Superstitous thought seizures were caused by demons, now people study neurology to explain it. They thought people with multiple personalities had multiple demons now they can explain this with psychology. So Science is replacing the BS.
hydrolito 3 months ago 2
@hydrolito Obviously, not the "Spirit of God" is in you...Yes, but the "spirit of the devil" is all in delusion and there's no truth in them. Many, people today do practice wiggie board, witchcraft, etc...are all spirit of the devils and they are all lies. Every words in the Bible came from the mouth of God and they have all come to past. Therefore, it's not hallucination nor delusions...
jegjegod 3 months ago
@hydrolito Even Scientists agree that what we cannot see does not mean it necessarily does not exist. I'm not a creationist, neither am I a fundamentalist. Just someone that believes neither side can fully explain everything that has happened over time. Maybe one day mankind will know the truth, whatever it may be, or maybe we won't before the sun expands and kills all life on the planet. To be honest arguing over this is kinda pointless (though it is kinda fun to argue, I guess that's a point).
kibuki91 2 months ago
@hydrolito I'm agnostic (which basically means I don't know what to believe). I believe however that someday Science and Religion will go hand in hand. Science will become a religion. And religion will use science. To call something you don't believe in BS (especially when there is no evidence to prove or disprove it's validity) is very "unscientific". You therefore contradicted yourself without even realizing it.

@rougewyng If it was a dream - What, a big imagination and it so rightly fit to our generation. Is, that, a coincedence? We know, that is not true... We know, that can only, come from an intelligent being, who knows the beginning and the ending."
jegjegod 6 months ago
@jegjegod So some things happen and he happens to be right on some and not others big deal, H.G. Wells foretold Tanks, aireal warfare and the atomic bomb, Jules Verne foretold exploring the deep ocean and landing on the moon. So then did God give them these visions? Of course not.
hydrolito 3 months ago
@rougewyng Yes,The scientific method is commonly described as a four-step process involving observations, hypothesis, experiments and conclusion. Intelligent design begins with the observation that intelligent agents produce complex and specified information(CSI).Design theorists hypothesize that if a natural object was designed, it will contain high levels of CSI.Scientists then perform experimental tests upon natural objects to determine if they contain complex and specified information...
jegjegod 6 months ago
@rougewyng [CONTINUE]>>>"One easily testable form of CSI is irreducible complexity, which can be discovered by experimentally reverse-engineering biological structures to see if they require all of their parts to function. When ID researchers find irreducible complexity in biology, they conclude that such structures were designed."
jegjegod 6 months ago
"The theory of intelligent design is simply an effort to empirically detect whether the "apparent design" in nature acknowledged by virtually all biologists is genuine design [the product of an intelligent cause] or is simply the product of an undirected process such as natural selection acting on random variations. Creationism, typically starts with a religious text and tries to see how the findings of science can be reconciled to it."
Yes, we do know, what happened from the beginning..."

phillintheuk1 6 months ago
@phillintheuk1 First, it's "13-odd billion years", not 30.
GerrohTheCommie 6 months ago
@GerrohTheCommie
My Q was The Big Bang would of expelled galaxies not in just one direction like that diagram but all around, ie: also in the opposite direction of the way we are heading..surely ?
phillintheuk1 6 months ago
@phillintheuk1 ...It is sending them in all directions, that tunnel is just a representation of what we see in one small portion of the sky.
GerrohTheCommie 6 months ago
I'm christian and I do believe that the possibility of a big bang is possible but in my own opinion, the big bang must had come from something and I believe in is God. I also see that also with the belief in God, it gives more depth to science and more knowledge. Even Richard Dawkins believes that the big bang has a designer but he admits that he has no clue on who did it. But I look at possibilities and I'm open to listen to anyone.
davo9678 6 months ago
I like conversing about science, even though I am not a scientist. I use understanding of evolution, physics, and the big bang as a litmus test for whether or not you're going to annoy me if we ever have one of "those" conversations. Dumb people can be amusing, in short drunken bursts, but if you keep them around long enough you realize they actually think they are hyper-intellectual and have all the facts and answers, despite having never actually asked any questions or studied any factsheets.

@ericleb01 Because at the very beginning of the world Adam and Eve committed the first sin. Thus the world had sin from there on. Adam and Eve were clean and free of sin until they sinned against God's orders.
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 But you have absolutely no proof of that. This theory -- and every other concept in science -- is backed up by experimental, observable, and reproducible evidence. For the Big Bang Theory, the best modern proof is the data collected by WMAP (Google it), which proves that the universe was once much more condensed and has since expanded over billions of years. It also verified predictions covering the timeline of the universe, something that fits with the current model.
ericleb01 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 And before you reply with Bible quotations, please remind yourself that the Bible's accuracy cannot be verified due to the fact that it IS its only source; therefore quoting the Bible serves no purpose in this debate.

@ericleb01 Sorry I never knew there was people who think the bible is not accurate. It was written by prophets and many other once living people. I feel sorry for people like you, I honestly do, because I would rather live my life for the Kingdom of God and become apart of it when I die... Then to live like there is no heaven and find out there is.
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 My friend and I wrote the "Book of the Pink Unicorn" last summer. It entails how the invisible pink unicorn is actually the master of the universe and fights the evil so we can make it to heaven. How can you be sure it isn't real?
And for that matter, how can you ignore the 4,000 other religions in the world who also promise salvation and eternal glory? You're doing it completely wrong according to the Ba'hai faith. And according to Greek mythology.
Chances are you're very wrong.
ericleb01 7 months ago
@ericleb01 The bible was written by prophets who were living during the time of Jesus. The old testament was before Jesus was born, and then new testament was after Jesus was born. Jesus was a real man, and the bible recorded most of his life. Chances might be that I am wrong, but the pope's since Paul, have been touched by every pope before him. Starting from Paul who was appointed the first pope. The bible is real, I have no doubt about it. It was written by real people.
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 "The bible is real, I have no doubt about it. It was written by real people."
I have no doubt that the aforementioned "Book of the Pink Unicorn" is real and 100% accurate. How does your version of that argument carry any more weight?
ericleb01 7 months ago
@ericleb01 Because it is a known fact. You think that your smart and witty by putting long words like "aforementioned" like for real, you're writing things but your not really writing things. What your saying doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Your just taking up space by writing junk that makes you look like you have a valid point. You know it, I know it, you have no meat to your paragraphs. I pray to my God, who gives me strength and I could not be happier. I'll pray for your soul.
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 It ISN'T fact; that's what you're missing! Show me proof that it is real! Show me substantiated evidence that what your saying isn't complete BS! You can't!
That's because the only thing that confirms it's validity is itself.
I'm sorry that you're not smart enough (or at least not making an effort) to understand what I'm trying to tell you. Either way, it must be the reason that you continue to delude yourself into thinking that there is a DUDE in the sky with absolutely NO proof.
ericleb01 7 months ago
@ericleb01 i am also an atheist there is no proof whatsoever that there some random and powerful man that made everything it was science that created us

Geology is the science to study rocks, Astronomy is the scientific study of Space, Biology is the scientific study of life, Sociology is the scientific study of peoples interactions with each other, Anthropology is the scientific study of human evolution from the apes to now, etc, etc.....

TheMaximusmacro 7 months ago
@TheMaximusmacro Thats why he is Jesus, and thats why he is remembered today. Without Jesus, we would be filled with sin, and no way to get out of it. He died for us, and thats the truth
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 so the book says we are born with sin and the only way to not be tortured for eternity is to follow what the book says? en the book is right because it says so in the book? thats circular reasoning.come on now how can you possibly believe that? that sounds more like a sect. they give you a false guilttrip and then the guidlines to make up for this false guilt. dont you see the holes in that logic?
TheMaximusmacro 7 months ago
@TheMaximusmacro Thats not true. Adam and Eve were the first to commit the first sin. Since then, every human being is born with original sin, but Christ died on the cross to that me MAY have eternal like. He's not telling us to do anything and neither is the bible. God gave us free will to do whatever we wish, but Christ gave us the option of eternal life in heaven and thats what I believe. He gave us the sacrament of reconciliation and we can repent all of our sins.

artblack01 6 months ago
@gentlemen59 If God doesn't exist then what? We don't live for today we live for our future and our childrens future not some empty promise/threat of salvation and damnation... the only evidence of such things is in ONE book, not in life, not in science, not in anything real, it's only in ONE book, the Bible, which by the way has been rewritten and mistranslated hundreds of times from it's original language for which it no longer matches.

artblack01 6 months ago
@ericleb01 4000 other religions didn't have a real man die on a cross, and get brutally whipped and flogged. 4000 different religions don't have a bible written by real prophets who once lived. 4000 other religions don't have a pope that has been touched by every pope before. 4000 other religions are useless.
gentlemen59 7 months ago
@gentlemen59 "...don't have a bible written by real prophets who once lived."
You don't know that. The rest of your comment was sentimentality and does nothing to prove your point.
"The bible was written by prophets who were living during the time of Jesus."
Can't prove that either.
"Jesus was a real man, and the bible recorded most of his life."
The Bible and a few disputed testimonies written decades after his death are the only proofs he even existed. Not very reliable.

@mike41794 Yeah, I only wish you thought differently, here I'll make a deal with you, if you read some of the bible or go to church for at least one day, I'll look more into science, and this theory :)
hannavas11 8 months ago
@hannavas11 i have been going to church most of my life when i was younger because thats what my parents wanted me to do. Though after a while i "opened my eyes" and realized that most of it does not make sense. And im not asking you to look into this theory because it has not been proven. Hence theory. But dont be saying that god created the universe cause thats just an excuse for not having a legitiment answer.
mike41794 7 months ago
@mike41794 No, you did not "open your eyes" you gave into the Devil. Sure, some things may seem to not make sense, but if you really think about it, they do, and that's also where faith comes into this all. Well, duhh, besides, I don;t want to look into the theory, I just want you to try to look into going to church again, I'm only trying to help you. Lastly, it is NOT an excuse, and it is the truth, you will only regret not believing it later. I'm sorry.

@hannavas11 Haha sorry but i dont belive in the devil either. And if they are true please prove it to me, saying the bible says so is not an asnwer.. lol. Believing in God is the only way the beginning can make sense. Otherwise, how can something be made from nothing?
belbers9715 8 months ago
@belbers9715 Something cannot be made from nothing. This is proven with the Law of Conservation of Mass and the Law of Conservation of Energy, both stating that neither mass nor energy can ever be actually lost, or destroyed, or created. And these are laws, meaning it is true, always has been, and always will be. So the singularity that the big bang theory started off with had to come from somewhere. And where it came from, I believe to be the only logical explanation, was from a previous....
LividLobotomist 7 months ago

How could matter exist in the first place?
belbers9715 7 months ago
@belbers9715 there was another universe before that universe. It's an infinite loop is what I was trying to say. It's confusing right now and we don't understand somethings right now, but to introduce a creator, you'd have to introduce an infinite loops of creators. If there a god, where did he come from, what made this creator? And what made that creator? My reason makes sense because we have some evidence that, the big bag theory, actually happened whereas people can only believe in god.
LividLobotomist 7 months ago
@LividLobotomist There wouldn't have to be an infinite loop of "gods". If one creator existed since before time had even began and created everything, then it would just be him. The only problem I have with your statement is that scientists don't really have any hard evidence. Your evidence isn't really evidence. You still have to believe in the big bang just as much as I have to believe in God.
belbers9715 7 months ago

Just like I have no evidence.
belbers9715 7 months ago
@belbers9715 And I'm saying we have similar argument as to how the universe was created aside from one major thing. Your creator is God, our creator is an outward expansion of energy and, well, you know the story, and this just makes more sense to me for some reason.
LividLobotomist 7 months ago
@LividLobotomist Yes, I agree. Our views are for the most part similar aside from the major reason of God. I think it is pointless when Atheists and Christians go at each other when they can't possibly prove one another wrong. All it accomplishes is making both Christians and Atheists look dumb.

@belbers9715
so ummm.....where did god come from?

Scientists are kind of pissed that they weren't around when the Big Bang happened. Here we had an event that holds all of the secrets to reality, and we missed it because we were lazy enough not to evolve for another 13 billion years.

To believe in the big bang and then evolution requires a belief structure way beyond believing in a creator you are the ones who believe in the miraculous and i am envious

Considering the fact that nothing can come from nothing all by itself, the big bang is impossible.

The bible has been proven as fact in every aspect except the futuristic predictions which are at least of the same intellect. Most of your scientific garble is just that and not really theories. Theories only in the mind of the dreamer!

@paulclark007 u know what i suppose religion is to give hope to people who cant find it, and i can respect that and dont think it dumb, but i think people who call scientist and non believers unintelligent, are the real morons, lol gods about as real as a bigfoot everyone believes in it but it doesnt exist, if u have a belief keep it to urself would ya, thats why i hate religion u guys push shit on people who dont care and already know its fake and corrupted
theslayerofvirgins 8 months ago
Okay anybody who thinks that intelligence was the result of anything but a God creating it really is stupid and is lacking in any real intelligence and excels only in foolishness such as this farcical nonsense! Dream on, you are quite gifted at it!

You cant start a theory with a big question mark. The smartest person in the world says the big bang is bull crap! Type "smartest woman in the world explains the big bang" into your search bar.
