@NickonAquaMagna2 Just because the new one is no where near as good as John Carpenters. It's just a typical Hollywood low budget remake of an old success. Some bits of the film were done very well, but on the whole it just was nothing compared to the 1982 movie. Hope you like our parody tho? :-p

I like the parody... Believe me, I know most movies nowadays are crap. I'm very picky and expected this movie to be a cash in, devoid of subtlety or anything genuinely scary, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. They took time to let a sense of tension ease in, the monsters were VERY creatively designed, and the fates of a lot of these characters made me feel sorry for them. A few LITTLE things may not match up, but they really tried and I think it's a worthy successor.
