  • I was wondering why there was no humidor for those cigars in the back.....than i realized this was Florida

  • Why do u cut cigars?

  • @SuperMasterofsoccer because most handrolled cigars are closed shut at the end you smoke out of, to prevent the tobacco from drying out.

  • @JohnnyCalvello and otherwise u can't smoke it

  • Very nice video. I am somewhat newer to Cigars, but have smoked some Macanudos and CAO. I really like a mild, creamy cigar. I hear alot of good things about Davidoff. What specific Davidoff cigar being a good representation of Davidoff should I start with?

  • @nls8520 if you want mild and CREAMY get your hands on the NUB CAMEROON

  • to have enough valume. you can never have enough valume.

  • How much is an average v-cutter at the cigar shop?

  • @sethro1 i recently purchased one (the most inexpensive one i could find) for £5, they had coloured cutters, metal ones, and other fancy ones but they were quite pricey.

  • @mrlebowski562 actually the most expensive i've seen is more than 400 dollars lol

  • I don't smoke cigars often enough to invest in a cutter. Usually the shop I go to gives me free matches (not the cardboard kind) and I just use those to punch the cap.

  • @finalconsecration Flip side - if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right...

  • @Musicisliberation ...true.

  • huh so a V-cutter is basically good for beginners? Cuz I am one, and Im planning on going out and buying some guillotine ones, but now idk........

  • love it thanks a lot for posting this, helped me out a lot, tons.

  • what's that blue thing called that he's cut the cigar with?

  • @JDKempt0n

More times than not it's referred to as a cats eye cutter. However the technical name is a v cut cutter.

  • @JDKempt0n v-cutter

  • Enjoy a good cigarr and listen to "Canta Bahia" by "Paloma Gomes". I do it all the tim! Its great....

  • where is this shop in saint pete?

  • Strange english speak is italian?

Great video finally i see a V Cut thanks!

  • How much does a v-cutter cost? I'm sure I can find one at a tabacco shop, no?

  • @Meechree Tobacco**

  • Hi,

Now smoking the cigar do you leave the ash on and build up about an inch or knock it off..

  • not even an inch

    about a half inch

  • I usually just let it build up as much as it wants to, but usually after an inch it doesn't take much movement for it to drop off...

  • The old man knows what he's talking about and everything he explained i learned my self the hard way. the v cutter is very interesting , prometheus make a v cutter aswell , but never seen a v cutter in action untill now , but i dont know i think i still prefer a guillotine cutter

  • Yeah i have only used guillotine too... kind of think that with the v cut you might not get proper draw through the entire cigar... but I dunno, i suppose you have to experience it...

  • @MrCohibaboy why do you prefer a guillotine cutter?

  • @pqstr because it offers full smoke and taste delivery , when you use punch cutters or v cutters it changes the whole flavor experience compared to the traditional way of cutting a cigar, v cutters and punch cutters were made for people who dont like to make mess and for those who have no idea how to cut it oldskool method in fear of the whole thing unwrapping itself .

  • thanks for this. think i'll try the vcut seeing as i suck with the guillotine lol

  • Take the plastic off first??? So that's where I've been going wrong all these years!

  • LOL

  • Seems at least 5 people don't understand the concept of sarcasm

    ...

  • @FODASSEZOR I was thing the same thing!????

  • I was always told that the V cut was the least desirable of the cutting options. Having never tried it, watching this video has made me curious enough to try it.

  • same thing here. i usually just cut the ends, and today i barely bought a simple punch for it. i think i may try the Vcut as well

  • I have the same exact one. wtf

  • Sorry I hadn't the tone of the comments on the video. I removed the arguments. If you have an issue with the removal you can email me. If you enjoy a cigar please watch and enjoy. If not then just find another video.

  • @dlrgroup1 hey buddy where are the directions to your store i've been looking for coronas but cant find any hit me wth a pm thanks brotha

  • @dlrgroup1 what is the second cutter that he mentioned?

  • @MrShuiab v-cut

  • i've actually used a serated steak knife when im without a cutter. it actually works well if your careful and cut it in a sawing motion

  • In those desperate times I resort to the punch method. Pen, pencil or nail to make a hole in the end less junk in my mouth. Never tried a steak knife.

  • @dlrgroup1

can you give me a little explanation of how to do that?

  • @andreipetunin You think under the assumption that russia "owns" a patent to a certain city name. St. Petersburg, if im not mistaken was Stalingrad back in the days of the Soviet union. The American St. Petersburg was then already founded

  • hey

    nice vid man

    im just gettin in2 cigars

  • Nice video. In the future, please be sure to do some close-up shots. Thanks.

  • yeah thanks i love cigars its a passion of mine

  • thanks for the informatiom
