Congrats on finishing in the top half. Sounds like "slow and steady" was a good stragegy for this event. Still, it can't be much fun to get passed by so many cars...until they wreck in front of you!

@niocholai7 It's huge fun to beat the faster cars. They pass all day, then break, wreck, get penalties, make extra stops for fuel etc while the slow cars just keep putzing around turning laps. Seeing your slow team's name above the faster guys on the final standings never stops being funny. :)

@evoatcha Thats not me driving in the vid, but yes, we did in fact get passed a lot. This was in a race called 24 Hours of Lemons, which is an endurance race for $500 cars. As you can imagine the race is filled with 1st time noobs (like us on this one) and cars that are crapping out. I believe at this point our tranny was near dead and we were trying to conserve it. Because of our conservative driving, we were in the top half, and in the group of cars that actually finished the race :)
