  • bn richmond is a ghetto yard to work at

  • awesome incredible EMD sound!!!

  • I wish athearn had the triclops version sd60m in ho scale. But for now the 2 window is fine.

  • do they have a model of this in n scale?

  • @atsf3780: Yeah, made by Atlas, in similar white-face BN scheme.

  • @cchan006 Atlas does not make SD60M's

  • @UP5140SD70M: Not in HO scale, but they do in N scale. I have one. atsf3780 asked "in n scale?"

  • @cchan006 Your right i am a HOsCALER

  • Yor sound record equipment is really awesome, are you using an external mike like I do with my Canon FS 11 (European model designation)?

Keep up the very talentet work! Oliver

  • gay

  • I must say I love the sound of those EMD locomotives!

  • Ive never seen auto racks such as these. How do you differentiate the SD60M from the SD60i beside that cab separation line?

  • Cool video!

  • Hey if you pause the vid at 0:46 the second unti has 3 windows.

  • Haha never mind my first comment. Sorry

  • wait a minute. BNSF is also carried in san jose, cause bnsf has a warm springs near the UP warm springs??

  • Almost to San Jose, but not quite. This train terminates here, then heads back north. BNSF comes here on UP tracks, on trackage rights.

  • Not that I know of. The farthest I've seen it go is to the crossing south of Warm Spring Yard, but not to Milpitas.

  • @cchan006. oh, cause after we passed the Great Mall/Main St. or Montague Lightrail stations, we saw a UP Warm Springs Sub crossing

  • My San Jose Switcher Job video shows a train crossing there.

  • o ok

  • Not all are in storage. One is currently being used in Longmont Colorado, If you go to the chicken plant it is usually parked there every night

  • They both have three windshields.

  • dumbass the second one is obviously 2 windowed when u see the pan.

  • Nice video

  • Those autoracks look brand new!

  • SOO Line and BN are the only locomotives I've seen with the tri windows. CN has Quad windows in the early years.

  • UP's SD60Ms had tri windows when they were first delievered. Conrail also had SD60Ms but they were two window versions only

  • what happen to those triciclops???..the BNSF are still using them??? thanks....

  • Currently all BNSF SD60Ms are in storage sadly.

  • oh thanks...why they are in storage...fuel savings? thanks again

  • They are not as efficient as the

ESS44AC/DC units and BNSF just decided to put them in storagre due to lack of work for them to do.

  • Sweet!

  • Great catch. you wont see these ever again.

  • who says? there only in storage

  • I say the BN SD60M's should go to a railroad museum.

  • I would prefer they come back out on the road first.

  • Nice to see a clip of this train south of Oakland. I usually see it between Oakland and Richmond.

  • two windows look so much better then three

  • @amtk122 well I personally love the 3 window phase 1 cab

  • great catch!

  • are the cars auto transports?

  • Yup, that's what autoracks do.

  • Great video!

  • That power is now a regular on the daily L CAL2141T out of Richmond at 4AM to Riverbank. Gets back to Richmond around 11.

  • Awesome Video1! Those SD-60Ms are awesome!!
