  • @gameofdeath ive seen a few pictures of them together my sifu, sifu chan was taught by GM Ip Ching and has a few of them all together i may get to meet GM Ip Ching soon which will be quite the honor and hopefully get to meet GM Ip chun also

  • i dno't want to insult anyone but i think that master ip ching is maybe a little bit better than ip chun, i dont know why everyone is talking that much of ip chun, they are both great masters, but i think that ip ching is a little bit better

  • I've never seen GM Ip Chun and GM Ip Ching working/teaching together; also, hardly seen pictures in which they're standing/sitting together. Are they getting along well with each other? Anyone can tell?

    Cheers!

  • @gameofdeath4288 When I shot this they seemed fine with each other. They were at the academy at the same time to see Chris Chan who was visiting from California.

  • @ph8tel cheers for your answer, buddy! :)

  • Do they fight in some kind of mixed martial arts tournament? Recently I'm very interested in WC, however, I'd like to see them in practice before I start learn it. I'm sure, that there are a lot of WC students on you tube, who had the same doubt as me.

  • @rudystrong1 you must be pretty knowledgable in martial arts to be able to watch them practice and tell if its effective.spare with one of them if your so curious

  • ip chun and ip ching~ i really want to see them doing chi sao together~

  • At the end, Ip Chun, Chris Chan, Shawn Rawcliffe.

  • 葉正 師傅 功力很強 !!

  • I liked how it works this teacher, I invite you to see my channel, greetings

  • YA MON ME LEARNIN DEM WING CHUN, ME GON BE BATTY MON. CUYAAH! at 2:30

  • unless i'm mistaken, the guy talking to Ip Ching at the end of the vid is GM Chris Chan. (I can't remember his Chinese name)

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • the turn and use of the elbow as a strike invites a proper VT response when both hands are used to simply turn the elbow user with no available followup. Turning the body and using the elbow is more of a Hung Gar technique and violates the two hands useful straight on the centerline VT principle.

  • @heartslord I see you say "its more of a 'insert MA here" technique but it's often wrong. Turning the body and using the elbow can be used in various ways and it's definitely Wing Chun. If it's in Hung Gar, cool, but it's shown in the Chum Kiu form.

  • watch rumble in the bronx

jackie chan uses there wing chun on the wooden dummy and against the gangsters there

  • I would beat any of these stupid chinks.

Jap, cross, hook, uppercut. Try stoppin' that, asian man.

  • @tomwalker389 jajajajaja you got lucky that he does not listen to you ... this man fight since you were in your father's eggs

  • Sorry start is Dan Chi then Chi Sao ... on my last comment. this is more than was on the last clip? Great Footage! Sifu Rawcliff .... one of my UK favs there too!

  • Okay here my comment worth.. Ip Ching is a great Wing Chun Sifu he studied under his father Yip Man since 1959 after coming from Mainland China to HK. He has massive respect in the WC world. This is actually Dan Chi not Chi Sao with some Bong Lap drill. Wing Chun is a technical art of fighting with defence in coordination with attack. I believe like his father Ip Ching doesn't see himself as Grand Master of Wing Chun his Students and their Students see him as the Grand Master of his Lineage.

  • Ip Ching never claim to be a Grandmaster.

  • What's funny about Wing Chun now, is that after Yip Man's death, anyone can be a grandmaster. Even his son, who's never been in a fight in his entire life.

  • the sad politics are that the children of a Sifu are senior to every student that Sifu has. that can often be a good formality. but even BBC and everyone who speaks of Ip Man's kids promote them like they are now the $#!+.

    they are just the kids.

Brandon Lee was not on Bruce Lee's level.

  • I see what you are saying .... but Brandon Lee was 8 years old when his father died.... Ip Ching and Ip Chun trained over 10 years with there father... Do you see where I am coming from now... Most Sifi's including I would imagine would put more effort into thier siblings training...Also lets not forget they are 50% Ip Man... :-)

  • have you even met his sons in order to know if they have been in real combat? I bet you haven't!!

I have met them and they have been in some issues in their lives so shut up before you make stupid statements.

  • Are you sure he's never been in a fight in his entire life?? If so I'd say its common sense for any good martial artist to avoid confrontation.

  • I think you miss the point of Grand Master ... It's not Ip Ching's ability to fight I seek it's his knowledge of the system he teaches.... He's nearly 80 I for one dont expect him to be a Shaolin Warrior? I respect him greatly as he doesnt call himself Grand Master he calls himselve Sifu .... Please respect the Elders of our System out of repect of the art of Wing Chun.

  • i have a question-

is wing tsun realy kung fu? like jackie chan is using ?

i need a answer because i found a wing tsun school but i dont want to lean somthing wrong.

  • @serienfan1: Kung Fu is a group of many Chinese martial arts. Wing Chun is one of them, but there are others. For example, Hung Gar and Tai Chi are Kung Fu too. I don't think Jackie Chan uses Wing Chun but he uses some other Kung Fu styles.

  • you are right but jackie chan also uses wing chun in a movie watch the movie rumble in the brons there he just uses wing chun also he demonstrates wing chun on the wooden dummy

  • @serienfan1

Jacky Chan.........ha, i can tell you that Jacky Chan never learn truely Kung Fu, he just a member of a Peking opera group since childhood. he just learn about acrobatics and other performances.

Wing Chun is a truely Chinese Kung Fu with a powerful lethality. But this type of Kung Fu haven't any beautiful movement

  • OMG YIP CHING IN THE VIDEO!!!!!!

  • Wing chun probably did not come from a woman, but legends and stories are nice. :)

  • Wing Chun did come from a woman, the name of this style of fighting says it all

    (wing chun is a woman's name) ;)

  • ip ching is top draw, great solid structured wing chun, by the grandmaster.. i have studied wc for 19 years and watching ip ching i feel there is so much more repitition of the system yet to still be done...thank you 4 posting

  • i miss HK. i m going back soon. i cn tell wen i here the noise from the street.

    wing chun is good.

  • I want to go to hong kong and train wc there. I want to live there too. why do guys mostly learn wc if it was made by a woman? I do see a lot of women practicing it. I see a lot of women practicing wushu. Anyways, is he related to Yip Man?

  • Ip Ching is Ip Man's youngest son.

Perhaps men practice it because it is a powerful style despite its originator...you have to remember the system was original founded and named after women but men helped to develop the system to what it is today....the way we know it today was probably not Wing Chun in its first conception...eventually weapons were added and probably more techniques, etc...

  • It's just a myth, man, propragated by the Ching rebels. No woman ever created a martial art. (not that they couldn't)

  • wing chun or kung fu in general has no gender base. women can practice martial arts just like men do.

  • Ip Ching is amazing! He's my Si Tai Gung, so I have tremendous respect for him.

  • I hear ya...he's my Si Gung ;)

  • do u mean 太師公?

    Thanks for posting! :)

  • yes, this is wing chun!

  • can u give the address of this school?

  • yes he is better then gary lam. However that doesn't mean gary isn't good as well.

  • I love it, smooth flowing sticking hands.

  • wtf!! i wanna be his student

  • Like the video. When was it shot?

  • just an example of how superior this martial art is

  • Excellent martial arts training video and loved the quality. I hope to mention this style of training to you. - Wing Chun Dummy - just do a search for the martialarm in youtube or google.

  • theres some footage with some of Master Kwok's students training with him and EVERYBODY and their mother had a camera going!! I got to see the full video from my sifu, but one guy even put his extra camcorder filming on top of jong!!! It was pretty hilarious to see him do that

  • Whatever!

  • no joke! I have the video. It was a chi sao seminar after the 2005 VT World Conference. I beleive at Edmond Fong's school

  • somebody told me that Ip Ching doesn't allow video taping of his lessons and such... HA! check this out!!!

  • Grandmaster Ip Ching is the best in the world!

  • He is certainly amazing.

  • is he better than Gary Lam if i may ask?

  • way better

  • I AGREE!

  • not the best but certainly one of the best

  • Grandmaster is awesome!

  • nice

  • thanks for sharing

  • Anyone here trained with Chris Chan? He is power is superhuman.

  • i heard ip ching is very very good.

Shame there isnt much ip ching on utube.

Be really good too see some more.

    Thnks 4 the vid.

  • is that yip mans son at the end? the really old guy?

  • The one doing Chi Sau is Yip Ching, son of Yip Man, and also the old fellow at the end is one of the sons of Yip Man. According to Moy Yat, Yip Ching was one of the best Chi Sau practitioners and has a great deal of Wing Chun knowledge. In my opinion, TRUE!

  • Both Ip Chun and Ip Ching are Ip Mans sons. Ip Ching is the one doing the chi sao

  • I wish I'd been inside this room! Very high skill I can only aspire to. Nice one Ching.

  • Awsooome!

  • cool clip!!

i was there in june this year, going back in october!

  • Wow! Lets look at things objectively!

  • wow that must be crazy to be with all them, but im more than satisfied with just sifu heimburger

  • wow!!! this is brilliant chisao!!! broken rythem chisao!!! ip ching is the gretest. better than LTWT chisao set routine parrot fashion programmes.

  • Ip Ching is absolutely awesome!!!

  • This is beautiful everytime I see it....so calm and collected...and teaching his students...not beating them to learn...Si Gung is pretty neat.

  • Wow Ip Ching on You Tube! Excellent, I trained very briefly with Ip Ching who corrected my bad wing chun in seconds... I want to go back to HK and train a lot more. Maybe I'll sell up and do it one day.

  • I love this art, beautiful, smart, very effective. Why would anyone ever waste time with karate? Thankyou for the post.

  • My Sifu, Steve Woodward appears at the end of the video, along with Sigung Rawcliffe. I trained at the Athletic Association back in February 2007, a real eye-opener for Chi Sau!

  • It's good to see good, technically sound Wing Chun. Check out Carlos Lee if you want a good laugh.

  • I've been inside this room!!! and chi-sau'd, good times :)

  • This is a cool video, I also see Grandmaster Chris Chan in the video as well.

  • Ip Chun, Shaun Rawcliffe, Derek Frearson, jeff neal?

    Ip Ching looks sharp.

  • Yip Man, Ching, and Chun are cool cuz they preserved the art.

  • Ip Ching is the best...recognize Si Gung IP Ching in this and Sifu Ron Heimberger in the other one as well as Sifu Sean Meyers....need to see more!!!!

  • WOW this is Ip Ching, Wing Chun Kung Fu Council. Thanks..got any more!!!!

  • Good eye. Recognize anyone else? More coming soon...

  • Yes, that's Yip Chun sitting down.
